@RipleYYY: you may read this to try to fix your problem with the "wife" program : http://www.blakjak.d...uk/prod_wr2.htm
But what this tech support didn't remember is that the "wife" program is not alone, it is part of a network domain, with "trust" relations with the "mother" and "mother in law" domains, and you have no administrator rights anymore smile.gif

About the speed of the mist multiball: I made a small change in dorsola's routine so the ball make small stops, like I have seen in the videos of the table. SO to change the speed of the ball you'll need to change two values in the lines 920 and 922. These are the original lines:

If MagnetPos MOD 33 = 0 Then
MotorTimer.Interval = 120
Else
MotorTimer.Interval = 16
End If

You may try reducing the 120 and 16 values to, for example, 80 and 8, like this:

If MagnetPos MOD 33 = 0 Then
MotorTimer.Interval = 80
Else
MotorTimer.Interval = 8
End If

JP

is there a way to turn up the background music? I have the ROM up to 31 and the sound effects are nice but i dont hear much background music or anything going on
If you have a widescreen 16:9 monitor and want to play your VP9 desktop tables without them being stretched, check out This Link

@Sabbat: there is nothing more you can do if you already have set up the volume of the rom. I also think the music is a little lower than in other roms. It may be the emulation or it is like this by design.

@RipleYYY: just download the version 1.01 in which I have fixed the ball falling out of the ramp.

Yeah i have noticed this too, was there ever any other updated roms released, other than the 2 in the download section? I take it there is no other way to make the music louder?

I have noticed this on a few Williams games actually. I have a RL Addams Family and the sound on some of the channels in the VP version are definitely lower than the real machine, also the sound quality is not as high and the speech sounds muffled, it would appear this is the same for Bram Stokers Draucla (another williams game) So it this due to the actual rom and how it was 'ripped/flashed' form the machine, or just down to pinmame??

Update 1.02
- fixed the top diverter (I made a simple wall that goes up & down, not fancy but it does the job smile.gif )
- made more visible the coffin ramp (It is now like a transparent ramp, more visible but it doesn't move up & down of course, but I think it still gives the illusion of the ball going either on top or under, even if only the lower part of the ramp moves up & down)
- made the mist magnet faster (now it is difficult for me to hit that multiball smile.gif )
