No problem asking. And the arthritis is painful, but the palsy is worse in that it's so frustrating at time. Let me know what kind of game you'd like me to make and I'll pick an interesting one and send it to you. I have hundreds of bagatelle, trade stimulators, commercial coin-op, counter tops, and plastic toy pins. Or if you don't have a preference, I have two that I think should be fairly easy redraws I've been wanting to do. I really do appreciate your offer.

I don't really have any preferences, so I'll just try whatever you'll throw at me tongue.gif
And I think I'll be redrawing with Inkscape, as retracing an image in raster is quite silly to do, as what I'll be doing is just selecting an area with the lasso and then filling that in with a certain colour.

Those are stunning Grizz. The problem was that South Pacific kept crashing my computer, so I had to past the images on to Uncle Willy, who just told me a few days ago that he was starting work on it.As suggested above, I have downloaded and installed Inkscape, so if I can figure how to use it, hopefully I will be able to do my own redraws.

Those are a lot better than what I found for that game. One problem I found in searching for Pachinko images is that most of what I found are for modern Pachinko Slots. I'd only be interested in doing older, more traditional Pachinkos like this one and the one I posted earlier. Patrick and I did one called The Missile, which is perfect for using as a starting point for old style Pachinko.

Yeah, it's a real bummer. So once UW finishes it, I'll download it and cross my fingers that I can play it. Luckily, I did switch the anti-virus program I use, so there's less crashing, so maybe things are looking up. I would never not use a redrawn images, or a usable image anyone sent me. It might take a while, but if someone is nice enough to find me a decent images, I oew it to them to use it.

perhaps vp910 will cause it not to crash if you set the pictures max resolution in the options.
If you have a widescreen 16:9 monitor and want to play your VP9 desktop tables without them being stretched, check out This Link

I voted for commercial bagatelle, but since this is your show, you can do whatever you feel comfortable with and enjoy.

I'm especially a fan of historically significant tables - your recent WWII pack was awesome biggrin.gif - and tables that also fit the pop culture style of their time, maybe in a way that is particularly unique or especially well-presented. One that comes to mind is The Babe, a 1938 (I think) game that plagiarized Babe Ruth's image. It fits all those criteria along with being rare. If you don't have pictures of it already I'll try to find some. I remember seeing one go for sale on some auction site a couple of years ago. Those propaganda tables fit the bill too. Just some ideas, and thanks for your obvious enthusiasm and interest in getting some feedback.

I've fiddled around with those setting, as well as compatibility setting, and while crashing and locking up happens less, it's still a problem.

I appreciate your feedback. I enjoy making every kind of table, but I do tend to get in a rut, which is why I did the poll. Using the results, I'll start to make more of a variety on games, so everyone who enjoys my work will get what they like best once in a while. I've never seen images of The Babe, but will see what I can find.

But I did make a bagatelle called Arcade Marble Pinball that used an etching of Babe Ruth, that is from that general era. It's in the VP8 Bagatelle section, so maybe I'll see about updating it for VP9. I also have quite a few images of really old Redgrave and other bagatelle from the 1870s and 80s that I might do eventually. They are a bit crudely made, and show their age, but I think they should be presented how they actually look, rather than being redrawn.

templarjh, I did a search, and came up with what was described as a 1930's Bambino Pinball Machine. Any chance this is the one you had in mind?

Thanks! This one just really caught my attention a couple of years ago. If I remember right (which isn't likely, considering I didn't remember its name right tongue.gif) it sold for $4000. The seller claimed he'd never seen another one offered. Of course, I've never seen a Ballyhoo on ebay, and they made like 70,000 of those. Still, it looks neat.

This site has some pics, as did several others on a google search:

Thanks, those pictures should help get the original colors right. Don't expect this any time soon, but in time I'll get it done.

I wanted to thank everyone who either voted in the poll, or posted in this thread. Because of it I've added old-style, non-slots Pachinkos to the kinds of games I'll be making. I'll also use the results of the poll as a loose guide as to what I work on, which will be pretty much the same sorts of stuff I always have. But now I'll try to have more variety in what I do, so everyone eventually gets their favorites. I also plan on updating some of my older stuff to VP9, and have gotten permission from my former partner Patrick to update any tables and games he did on his own. This means I now have over 500 tables on my hard drive to choose from, and your feedback will help me make better desions on what to do next, and help keep me from getting bored.

Among what I'm currently working on are an update of Arcade Marble & Baseball Game, with an improved image and new features, Bally's 1938 Bambino Pinball, an unidentified old-style Pachinko, and maybe a few other Pachinkos, as well as an extremely rare bagatelle featuring characters from the old Amos n Andy show from the 1930s-50s.

Thanks for the input. While I usually make older stuff and odd ball stuff, another EM or Bingo might just happen some day.
