Any plans for a doctor who theme?

Been tempted with this or robocop and redoing my real pin cabs with some modern art.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for all the positive feedback on the artwork.  Definitely keeps me motivated to do more! :)  As to all the requests, I'll add any ideas to my "possible art" list but can never guarantee whether they will be done or not.  And please keep the pics of completed cabs coming, I love to see the finished products. ;)

Here's another one in the works.  Tried to get a more of a 50s retro vibe.

Love it! Just the background should be something else...i mean the palm trees.

More retro!
What about retro classic pin-up art from plastics and backglasses like this:

Also, I've been getting a lot of requests lately from people which is great - keep them coming as I'm happy to consider anything.  However most people don't seem to understand that to get good looking printed art at the size of a Pinball machine - ie. sides that are 1.3m wide, that using wallpaper art as a basis is not really going to work.  While you might find an awesome looking picture online and think hey I'll use that as my artwork, you may find that when it is upsized the graphic is totally pixelated and the quality is crap.

Print artwork is normally done at 300dpi whereas web based/ computer screen graphics are normally only at 72dpi.  The below image illustrates what happens when you take a Full HD 1920x1080 wallpaper from the web and import it into my 300dpi Pinball template:

Wallpaperartexample1.png

So when you see me talking about suitable high resolution graphics this is what i am talking about! :)  And yes I have used Photozoom on occasions to help upsize images but it is still best to start off with the best quality first.

Here is a commissioned job I am doing for member "gamefixer".  He wanted a Robotron 2084 themed cab but redone as "RoboPin 2014".  I have tried to keep the same styling as the original Williams art, but with a Pinball twist!  He also wanted the Bezel around the monitor to have art so I have done a matching bezel as seen below.  All the art is vector and was done in inkscape.

Can you make me a Special Layout with: Back to the Pinball

With my corect Size?

How much i have to pay.

is it 50 Dollars okay like you write i the Posts?

I am happy if you can do it for me and my cab is the happiest of all,, he is now painted only in Black....

I'd have to see how hard it would be to modify the BTTF logo with the word Pinball instead.  For the art I made I used a vector file of the logo.  To modify the text I'd have to try and recreate the logo from scratch.  Let me look into it and see if I can do it so the logo actually looks any good.

Update:

Ok, after a bit of a play I've managed to redo the logo from scratch using the BTTF font I found online.  I think it came out ok. Actually I was totally surprised how quick I whipped this up! :)  If this is what you want then send me a PM to discuss custom sizing your cab.

Stuzza sorry for all the PM's they were before I found this forum. Totally awesome are I DL'ed it all and will see what I can work with. I am looking for something generic maybe HyperPin in the center with clipart from iconic pins around it. I will look through your PSD files to see what I can re-allocate.

Great work, This is sort of how I learned PhotoShop (wont tell you the version it was on then!), I started making custom CD Labels for Playstation 1 games after over 1000 of them I got pretty good at doctoring up what I could find on the web.

Thank you for all this awesome work you have done.

Gamefixer that is a great idea for a pincab, getting a robotron was what got me into collecting and repairing arcade cabs 35 years ago. I may have to modify it if it gets posted It would sit next to my Robotron cab.

I have hit my monthly bandwidth limit for the free photobucket account.  It should reset in a few days (I think the 24th of the month).  Obviously getting too many people looking at all the previews. LOL  You have to pay for an account to get unmetered bandwidth, but that cost $30 a year minimum.
