I actually forgot about my order (It's been two months) until I had a quick check on Vpforums to look at table updates. Then I remembered I had ordered this thing. Must admit my initial excitement has well worn off. ![]()
My order number is 903 (Ordered 30th August). Can you please let me know where I am in the queue? Should I be waiting for Santa at this point?

That's good news Noah. I know you're doing your very best. Cheers.

I have heard of one other member who had the issue of only nudging in one direction, and, oddly, the solution was to mount it slightly angled. Since it'll calibrate itself on startup, it won't lean, but will improve the bi-directional nudge capability.

Just got back from my Holiday and finally had the change to check the new tube that Noah sent me (to test the calibration loss issues).
I was first very disappointed because the new tube did not fix the problem... however having a second backup tube gave me the courage to try something else. I made the tube about 1cm shorter and so far the results look promising!
I started to think this option because the slam function never worked for me. Also taking the tube out helped someone else (ie. making the tube longer) which suggested that the length of the tube might have something to do with the calibration loss. I then realized that I have a custom cabinet that is probably thicker than usual pincabs and therefore even the slam isn't working (plunger is too far from the infrared calibration eye).
After my first try (about 0,5cm shorter) the calibration was still lost but much less than before. However the slam function started to work which indicated that I was doing something right! I then shortened it a bit more and now after 1-2 hours of initial tests the calibration was still about 95% correct -> which means it wasn't noticeable with VP at all (only from game controller properties).
So at the moment it seems that making the tube shorter has fixed my issues (I really hope so!). I will report back once I have had more time to play and I can confirm if the results are final or not.

I also had the issue with dying calibration, but I always made a full stroke prior to start any game. Unfortunately that didn't helped.
The approach of teppotea sounds promissing. Please report your results of further testing. Don't want to damage my tube ![]()
I played around with pulling the tip inside up, what should somehow have the same effect, but it worked only partial. It helped for the slam function, but maybe still too short to fix the rest.

Just got my unit in the mail yesterday. Havent tested it yet but the build quality is great. Just out of curiosity is there a reson why the USB cable would be hot glued to the case? I shouldnt have a problem reaching from my PC to the front of the cabinet, but Id like to have the ability to swap out for a longer cord if needed. Thanks again for this product !

I have yet to receive any installation pics, and I have just been given a lead on what may be the cause, as well.
Please report the version of Visual Pinball you are experiencing the issues with, and please try the same table in 915 (if your using beta, and the table is backwards compatible). I believe this may be why I have yet to be able to reproduce it. I only use official releases in cabs I ship.
Thank you.
