If you played a VPinMame game you can try to add the following function to the script:
Sub (tableware).Exit
controller.stop()
end sub
This should prevent you from the crash above. Btw I would recommend to use version 9.15 or if you like adventures try the 9.16 beta version both give you a much better game experience.

If you don't see any table images, it's probably that you made a mistake editing the settings.ini. Check you path settings if a / is at the end, if so remove it. For any other settings you should read the readme file ;)

thanks again for your help.

Do I have to add this line in each table ? and do you know why using hyperpin I have no issue at all exiting the table ?

I would add it to all tables which crash. I don't have a clue why that happens, but other users reported this behavior with hyperpin as well. I suppose it has to with do with the way how fplaunch stops VP and how Windows unloads DLL files.

I have weird bugs with pinselect the gremlins table will not launch or it gives me another table, then the ball starts slowly and only in the ramp.
I do not understand why

I'm looking forward to trying this out, but the download at sourceforge does not start. Hopefully a temporary problem with sourceforge. I will definitely try again later. Thank you for your work. Hyperpin is slow and a recource hog but basically my only option as of now.

Hi All !

First of all: PinSelect is truly a GREAT alternative to HyperPin !

I startet with VP a few weeks ago..read LOTS of Posts an now I´m only a short way from building my own cabinet.

So I Tried Hyperpin in my win7 enviroment...and got  the same issues as descibed here..now i found Pinselect.

All works fine but now i tried to use a Joypad...in Hyperpin it works with correct settings in the [Pinball Wizard] sektion, so i read that PinSelect doesn´t support JoyPads jet....so I Tried to Change the Keys for UP/Down in the [Keyboard] sektion top map them later with J2K Keyboard mapper, but any other than 150 for up und 149 for down doesn´t work :-(.

Amy Ideas about this....or will there sometime be Joystick support ??

Greetings, JAS

I don't have much time to support PinSelect anymore. You can try to change the source of PinSelect (it's on sourceforge) or you try the other alternative to hyperpin: PinballX

Thanks Fuzzel for this job. Really HP is very heavy and have many keyboard bugs. I'll choose to use your Pinselect app.  I liked it, but i found two issues.
First, my cabinet have two monitors, in HyperPin, it loads fine in two monitors when it starts via initialization directory in windows(in user logon).  In Pinselect, when the app starts via initialization, the second monitor(backglass) don't show any image, when starts via user and the Windows Explorer is in the first monitor, the image load fine in first and  the second monitors. I don't know what it happens. Have any idea?
Second, i use some tables, not the amount of 30, 100, 400 tables, in my case, i don't need any filters. What parameters in the setting.ini i use to disable this option?
Thanks for your help.

I don't know if I understood you but it sounds that you start PinSelect a bit too early? Maybe the graphics card driver or some resources aren't completely initialized? Try to start PS form the Autostart folder. The filter options is built in, you can't disable it. All options of PinSelect are in the [PinSelect] section of the settings.ini there aren't any hidden features like in Hyperpin :) As an alternative try PinballX it has much more features and easy to setup.

One issue i'm running into in Hyperpin is the inability to change the 'back\exit\shutdown" menu skins.  are all the skins here changeable?  Great job BTW!
