I ran across this error on Big Guns and some other VP10 tables.
Line 1: Object dosen't support this property or method aflip1.speed
What do I need to do to correct this?

I believe it had to do with updating your scripts. I know with me, I ended up having to delete all the old scripts out of my tables folder and put the new scripts into the scripts folder. I continued to receive that error until I did so (delete the old ones).

I know this isn't a beta thing, but we are still having constant issues with the all-in-one installer installing b2sserver and controller.vbs then disabling desktop mode by default and I figured this would get seen here. Can we either modify the installer to ask if they want b2sserver installed, or have the controller.vbs ask on first run whether they use b2s or not. And if you modify the installer can we change the default install folder to c:\visual pinball instead of program files to avoid those issues as well.
Just a thought to try and make it easier on everyone, especially new people. Thanks.

Hey!
Here it is a small table to test the latest vpx 10.1
I made this table for a friend which is huge fan of the Street Fighter series, and since I build it using the 10.1 I thought I could share it here on this thread.
Things that work only with this 10.1:
- The rotate it flipper. Thanks to the new revisions now you can change the start angle of the flipper from the script, which allowed me to make the rotating flipper using just a one flipper, instead of a lot fo them, like in the Wow Monopoly table.
- The DMD using a flasher object. You can see this in desktop mode.
Now, other things you may notice in this table:
- The flippers are standard VPX flippers, I only made a new graphic for it. Still you may change the colors by selecting another material. I made those flippers for my Hell table (which I never finished), but I think they fit quite well in this one.
- The lower playfield is made by making a transparent hole in the playfield image. Now for it to work the material of the playfield must have the opacity checked, and all the objects under it too. This way I made a lower playfield without the need to make a higher playfield with a wall or change the playfield height.
- I have used standard VPX ramps, no 3D meshes, even the up & down ramps are standard ramps. Actually the only 3D meshes are small objects like the rubber posts, the flasher domes, and the metal walls behind the holes. The rest are all default VPX objects, for example the ramp rings are rubber objects with a metal material. I made a new
- I made a new environment image to make the wire ramps look a little more metallic without jaggies. Som environment image are very nice to give a nice ambient lightning, but they are terrible to make the wired ramps look metallic. Many authors replace the ramps with 3D meshes, so they can add the image they want. But I wanted to use plain VPX objects for everything.
The table is still a wip, but the only thing I want to tweak a little more are the mechanical sounds, which for now are just a few. Everything should be in the table.
The physics are the recommended physics for a VPX table, as recommended by fuzzel & jimmyfingers.
And I guess that's all ![]()

Thanks JP, it's a fun table ![]()
Do you create the environment map in photoshop? What tools do you use?
For the wire ramps I also use the vp ramps , make the rings with rubber objects (same as you) and then convert them to a model , joining some vertex if necessary (for example in your WIP, joining Primitive15 with the rest of the ramp) in blender.

Yes, I used photoshop for make the environment image. I used the gradient tools first to create the background from dark at the bottom to white at the top. Then I made a spot on the right side, using also the gradient tool (circular this time). And Then I used the smear tool to make some white spikes from top to bottom, until I got the wire ramps to look alike I wanted. My idea was to make an image which could make the metals look like metals, mostly the wire ramps and the trigger lanes. I tried to make them look natural and not 3D rendered objects. I know they are not perfect, but they will do for now ![]()
I actually don't like the idea of exporting objects and make a 3D mesh and import them again. I always liked to do thigs in VP, using the objects available, and it felt like cheating when I used images to simulate objects. And it is the same feeling I get if I export a ramp, make an obj and import it again. I prefer to leave the ramp like it is, even if it looks better the imported 3D mesh
I know, I'm an old dog, with difficulty learning new tricks hahaha.

They work fine for me. Make sure you copy over the scripts and all dll's and exe from vp10.1 zip.
Did a fresh install of VP 10.1 on another of my hard drives and IT WORKS!! Thanks so much guys!!

In color picker, say when choosing a light color, how to you add more than one 1 custom color to the picker. Each time I click "Add to Custom Colors" it always goes to the first slot.
Is this a bug/feature or user error?
