At the moment, the major focus is to unify VPX and VPVR codebases again, plus to even make VPX a bit more independent of windows specific functionality.

So a lot of stuff is going on under the hood, but for 'endusers' its mostly not-so-interesting at the moment.

so activeX no longer has reason to exist, and should disappear....good news

 

Lets see. This is all WIP.

Does RivaTuner crash VPX only on my side?

I've used msi afterburner along with rive tuner server for performance recording and it was fine.

Wanted to ask about the Primary parameter that can be used when running vpx: Can this be added somehow to the system so when running vpx not via bat or pinup popper script, it will also be used when double clicking the table file to start vpx ?

Windows constantly changes the monitor selected for the playfield, used hte -Primary param for pinup popper launch script for VPX but when testing or running individual tables it is pain in the you know where ;)

You have to regedit the shell entries

 Just to add
A GUI-less pause resume function that can be used from a front end and when in exclusive fullscreen etc.

No, it wont

it is already 4gb capable

 

VPinmame wouldnt need 4GB on any planet

it is already 4gb capable

 ROMs dont consume that kind of memory
And Pinball has been verified to be only an Earthly apparition

Whenever i use a launcher, the panels on both sides move to sideways. VPX doesn't save their poisition. I have to move them back. Without any launcher, there is no problem witht their posiiton.

Whenever i use a launcher, the panels on both sides move to sideways. VPX doesn't save their poisition. I have to move them back. Without any launcher, there is no problem witht their posiiton.

 

 

 

This is due to the launcher using the -minimized parameter

If you remove it this doesnt happen, but you may see VPX opening.

Could use a look see, but the above might give you some temp relief if you want

 

Incidentally, if the panels are undocked and outside the VPX window, it doesnt seem to happen @Toxie

Well maybe its time we got a Gofund going  and sent some VPin to the Inernational Space Station  and let them enjoy some silver ball while conversing the black unknown and green planet (well whats left green). :-)

Spaceballs  would have a new meaning lol.

Er wait, now i am kind of confused as i thought it was a joke kind of
I have accidentally shot balls up out of the table, when i did vertical kicker wrong (much too strong)
and i had the glass someplace besides on top of the playfield as i wasnt sure where i was going to need it yet.
And the table sides can be non colliding, but the ball rolls out if the whole side is not colliding

Unless i am doing something really wrong to begin with and getting weird results because of it?

Usually I make an arc with a ramp to curve the trajectory of the ball

and prevent it from colliding with the glass.
