Just a heads up

went to launch rev2324

and got this error

post-73849-0-57410200-1446418698.png

the fix was to download the missing DLL

but adding it to System32 folder didnt work for me...

I had to add it to the SysWOW64 folder, now its fine....

Hey Haunt, thanks for this tip. I encountered the same problem on rev 2331, downloaded the missing DLL and added to the SysWOW64 folder and all is good!

Windows 7

encountered the same problem on rev 2341

This is will be resolved very shortly, but for moment MSVCP110.dll(http://www.microsoft...n.aspx?id=30679) Just for reference Microsoft decided to put older 32bit dlls in the folder sysWOW64 on win7/8x64 systems. ?!? Message me if you need specific assistance.

you have to make sure you install the 32 AND 64 bit versions of Visual Studio 2012

http://www.microsoft...s.aspx?id=30679

Install

VSU_4\vcredist_x64.exe    and     VSU_4\vcredist_x86.exe

I'm 50/50.  My cab gives the same error as UW.  My laptop does not (I tested FS vs DT and was not culprit).  AMD vs nVidia?

mines nvidia

and no dump as far as i can find

oh well i guess i'll continue working on pinball magic when this gets resolved.

maybe i have the old build still

just tested.  so some change between 2331 and 2341 is causing the crash for certain systems i guess.

2331 still works fine for me

So, anybody who gets the crash in Renderdevice.cpp line 805 now, could you please post your gfx card and OS for that system?

Also, please try to install a recent gfx driver and retest.

could it be that all guys that experience issues now (including me/my cab ;)) still run windows XP?

so i guess i'll add a backwards compatibility flag to the video preferences that switches to the old way of doing things when enabled.
