Blimey, weisshund you managed 164m on Rolling Stones?! Totally destroyed my high score.   Just a shame you were 10 minutes too late!!  :lol:

Did you get to encore mode?, i had a couple of chances at it but got a bit too giddy with myself and messed it up.

Did you get to encore mode?, i had a couple of chances at it but got a bit too giddy with myself and messed it up.

 

I dont know what i got, i followed what DNA said to do, or tried to anyways, except mick kept screwing it up

and the super scoring mode seemed to be kinda random on if it was going to happen or not.

 

only table where during multiball, i tried to get rid of the multi balls, because F-in mick would ultimately plant his ass still, blocking anything worth hitting

and would not budge until the extra balls were cleared, and he like never failed to stand right in front for what ever the table decided Hey shoot this blinking arrow for lots of points.

 

Sopranos though, is kinda weird?
Is it really supposed to give you that many ball saves?
Not only ball saves on a normal ball, but save a multi ball also?
Scores on that game are gonna be super high i am betting.

 

Kinda funny when you get several balls locked in the safe
suddenly, its multiball again.

 

I Wonder if maybe DNA should like put up an NVram for the weekly challenges, with a specific arrangement of settings?
i just left it as what ever the factory default was, i dont know the table enough, nor have a manual for it to go messing with them and know what i am setting.

Also, tell me if you feel like something is a bit off on the sopranos table
I feel like invisible flipper tips were touching the ball when the ball should have went right through.
There were a number of times that i saved the ball when i dont feel like it really should have.

 

 

PS 10 min too late was a blessing
i thought your score was 900 million
and i was getting tired exiting and restarting trying to get the darned thing to go right.

So this table is going to be fun.  Just loaded it up on the main PC (not the cab) and noticed right off the bat the table has VSYNC turned on for itself.  I know this can be a buggar depending on how you address the feature, so maybe turn it back to -1.  Also, I did end up changing the flashers to 55 to be safe.  Cab will be later, but this table seems fun.  Also to note..and is laughable...I wanted to turn the profanity on...It's the FIRST dang Adjustment Feature lol.  Not like its 64 or 22....number 1.  Found humor in that.

Man...I am having a BOATload of fun with this table in the 20 min I've played it.  Easy to pick up and of course even a couple of years ago 32a was knocking it out of the park.  I've cleaned up the blur on the playfield with GigaPixel if anyone is interested and the color rom was at the end of that thread at VPU.  Runs very smooth on my end.

Man...I am having a BOATload of fun with this table in the 20 min I've played it.  Easy to pick up and of course even a couple of years ago 32a was knocking it out of the park.  I've cleaned up the blur on the playfield with GigaPixel if anyone is interested and the color rom was at the end of that thread at VPU.  Runs very smooth on my end.

Flippers on Sopranos seem ok to me so far, no stutter either..    but i have had to exit out of the game quite often, losing balls somewhere, normally on multiball (last seen heading off the flipper and over the apron somewhere on one occasion)

Not stutters.
Flipper hitting ball with flipper that does not exist, at least visually.
As if a visual flipper model is sitting over the top of a larger, non visible, physical flipper

 

Yea i discovered the escaping balls too
in fact, you can kind of get a multi ball that lasts for a super long time cause of it
and the table keeps shooting a ball back, i guess trying to replace it

 

This may not be a good table for the challenge in its present state?

At a glance, putting a glass over the entire front 3rd of the table at 51 units high stops a good amount of the lost balls
but not all of them, and not the ones that go airborn in the rear 2/3rds of the table

Thanks everyone for your ideas on why this table was sluggish on my cab. It was the vsync setting. All is good now....

I’m not that familiar with how to make changes to tables, could someone provide the steps in added the glass on the bottom 1/3 of the table so I can at least stop those balls from flying off (in my experience thus far, this is the largest percentage of lost balls). Which feature do I add to the table in visual pinball?  If it’s too complex to describe, then perhaps someone can do it and then share their .vpx file with me?

Literally drop a wall on the table
make bottom height 51 units

make top like 53 units

 

drag the corner points of the wall to cover the right area

 

set the physics values of the wall to all 0's so it wont interfere with the ball in other ways

 

also, in visuals set the wall to not be visible

Damned happen twice now.
First at ball 1. I had 54m and and the ball flew over my flipper away.
Than another game at ball2. 177m when the ball flew away.
I could only quit the game, because the table was missing a ball 
I really need to add that hidden wall, although I never edited a table.
So upset now.  :shutup:

Damned hapoen twice. First at bal1 I had 54m and than ball2 177m that the ballfly away. I really need to add that hideen wall, although I never edited a table.

if you keep playing, your luck will go the other way
then table will keep spitting out balls cause some lost ball has buggered up things
(or maybe it's a ball jammed in a switch it does not belong in or something? not 100% sure aside from a ball went flying someplace it was not supposed to)
And you damned near wont be able to end multiball, cause the table will keep replacing every ball.

 

But yea, to have a like normal game, pretty sure you are going to have to enforce a no fly zone
Most of the fliers seem to take altitude at the bottom half of the table, not all, but most of them.

It probably could really use a cap or full enclosure
i also noticed there are a few places where a skyward ball can land, and get jammed.
I might see how easy it is to adapt that table to JP's physics, at balls seem to do a lot less unreal flying, partly because he has ball velocity checks
that prevent them from making the jump to light speed
