Your error on line 6 - you've downloaded a html document - not the clean table script. This is one of the reasons I tell people to use website that are designed for pasting code instead of using crappy html editors being here, vpu or vpinball. Don't paste code into the forum and expect it to come out usable. Use Pastebin, Github or something proper. Or at least, try to use the "code" tag in the editors. But, I really, really warn against it.

I did not copy and paste anything

had to go to the scripts, go to raw view, then do a copy and paste

 

maybe i should have just pulled the git in sourcetree

Yeah. Right. Your error is html so I don't care what you say. I'm right in that the error you was getting was related to doing something you should not.

Just dont know why the direct link from git would pull it down in html, but i usually use sourcetree.

You should have been able to download from here - Click the green button and download the flexdmd-master with the script files

Yea i kind of would have thought, but for what ever reason, when it says you wanna save this file
i get something other than intended

OK folks, where can I set the DMD parameters centrally?

 

I had UltraDMD earlier and installed FlexDMD, registered it as the UltraDMD replacement.

 

If i change the height (or width, x/y position etc.) in dmddevice.ini, this has no effect. Same for the UltraDMD registry settings. I'm baffled and thought I tried all possible methods and locations - apparently that's not true.

I know these can be (supposedly) controlled in each table, but where is the default? Currently, all my UltraDMD / FlexDMD tables have the same DMD parameters and I would like to change the height, for starters.

Did you put the 3 files for FlexDMD in the VPinMame Folder

I also recommend that you read the complete topic it will give you lots of information and some troubleshooting

Yes, I did. Every file is where it is supposed to be.

Also, I did read the whole topic (plus Github and other threads), and as far as I can tell, nothing is wrong in my setup...

For some reason it's not working for you
FlexDMD controlling UltraDMD tables
This works for me With UltraDMD games --> If i change the height (or width, x/y position etc.) in dmddevice.ini, this has no effect.

With flex controlling UltraDMD tables this no longer controls anything
Same for the UltraDMD registry settings. height (or width, x/y position)  I'm baffled and thought I tried all possible methods and locations -

I drug the DMD where i wanted it, set dimensions by draging its corners around
then i right clicked the DMD and could choose save globally (which it did, just was not what i wanted, not having 3 screens) or save for tablename, which worked as i wanted it to

 

I had one table that the tablename was just showing " " for but i fixed that by adding to the script for that table
 

I did not edit the ini file at all

Hello,

I got a problem with colouring of champions league 18.

I got flexdmd running since one month and it works fine with all ultradmd tables, that had problems before.

 

Champions league was at first running, but the dmd was to slow and not syncronized to the gameplay. I changed then the 'UltraDMD_Options.vbs as "vbousquet" told on page nine (https://www.vpforums...ic=43569&page=9).

 

Now the dmd is working perfect, but it is orange. That´s a shame.

 

Then I tried to change  'UltraDMD_Options.vbs like this, as "outhere" mentioned.

Now the dmd is coloured but it behaved slow. Exactly the same way as before changing  'UltraDMD_Options.vbs at all.

For me it look as if flexdmd is no longer used. But I get no error message?

Put   Champions League (Season 18) TT&NZ v1.0.vbs   In the Tables Folder And name it the same as your game
Put   UltraDMD_Options - Flexdmd.vbs   In the Scripts Folder

I already checked my versions: FlexDMD is 0.1.6 and Freezy is 1.8.0

 

Other games work without problems (AMH or Diablo) in color.

 

I dont understand
