how do you get a black background ?

I'm used to working with dark interfaces ; it is much more relaxing for the eyes.

notepad ++

I only use it for editing c # code with unity. it is lighter than that of microsoft or other ...

for vbs factory is the best

I see, dark mode, if only Windows 10 had a decent dark mode should have solved many problems :) But I'm used to white windows, I have been dealing with Windows since 1984, so I have learned to turn down a little the brightness of the monitors :)

Oh, good find. I also just saw that this part of the code is one of the many todos that Brandrew left behind back in the days. I'll wire this up to the script editor preferences then.

Thanks!

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

Just sad. Not having a single ability in life to share but hatred.

Dark mode sounds very interesting. That's how I have VPX table background set. Almost black.

Thank you for your efforts.

taking the example on the left would be the best solution.

make the color appear directly (instead of a gray box), and add selection color.

because by default it is white, it is annoying on white text on a black background ....

editeur.jpg

the text selection should be gray, because only the red or fuchsia is readable.

I will see on the register if we can modify the color of the selected text.

it's ok  decreasing by 2 darker gradient

Congrats T&F on the 10.7 release. You guys rock!!! I am just now getting into it, and I am having a problem.

I can load and play table fine. But every time I exit the table, the editor will either completely close down, or the table will close (editor still up) and the table selection table folder will re-appear (to reload table).

Any idea?

BTW it does this on every table on my cab EXCEPT the sample table embedded in the editor.

What you're describing sounds like expected behaviour. If you want to edit a table, cancel out of the "load table" dialogue that comes up at launch, and then go "File->Open" to open the desired table (or choose from the list of Recents - that works too). It'll then be open in edit mode, and will return to the editor after launch and exit.

There is an option in the Preferences, Editor/UI Options to turn that on or off:

JP,

When you exit the table, the editor completely closes out. I have to re-launch the editor constantly. Thats the issue.

Okay the issue seems to now happen randomly. But the editor does closes down 80% of the time when you exit the table.

Could be a crash. Is there a crash.dmp file in the same folder where you opened the table?

looking now

Nope. No crash file in the folder.

Does not really feel like a crash. Its that the table simply wants to close it self out automatically when you return to the editor.

Okay here is some more info. Once the editor is up, if I load the "Full Sample Table", play it and then exit, then load a normal table, everything works much better. I did this and managed to get a table to run/exit 10 times in a row without it closing down.

So as long as I have run the Full Sample Table as my first table, then everything is normal. How can that be?
