Thanks again :-) You're a life saver. It was driving me crazy to get that DMD screen filled. One thing I havn't found out is how to use my front end to show the DMD during playing. I have it filled in the menu but when starting up the menu the screen is empty again. Using Pinup popper BTW as a front end. O well, small steps small steps ;-)

Today I tried FlexDMD with JP Ghostbusters Slimer (Original 2016) - DT 2.1.0

Now I have dmd with B2s on one screen!

I´m lucky - here is the result:

I also used FlexDMD, I now have DMD on the third screen. But how do I remove DMD from Playfield now? I see it's removed on your screen.

My way:

i load Ghostbusters Slimer (Orginal 2016) - jpsales DT  2.1.0

then turn off all layers      #

then switch on layer        10

then press left mouse button and mark DMD

then aDMD Flasher (43) remove the hook from Visible

....then dmd is no longer displayed on the table

This is my way. Maybe there is a better one. Please let me know if there are any better options

That turned off the internal DMD in the table
But nothing showing up in flexDMD at all

Did you do any other script edits etc?

Also which backglass are you using?

This is with the current downloadable version of the table right?

Did you run the FlexDMDUI in flexdmd and registered everything?

My problem was that the DmdDevice.dll was not found. Therefore, UltraDmd was not shown.

I hope it helps.

Turned out to be the backglass
It had a component DMD, that did not function (probably did a few table revisions ago)
and it was basically covering the flexDMD, was a big separate piece at the bottom

When i disabled it in the the backglass, there was the flexDMD hidden behind it
I am using the backglass from here that has the little green DMD in the screenshots

Fishc, like you I am using JP's v2.1.0 version of Slimer in my cabinet and am trying to get the DMD to pop out over to screen 2 where I present my DMD and Backglass together.  I tend to leave the DT version of the table alone (for use on my desktop computer) then present the FS table version as the primary display in my game cabinet. Do you think your method would work for me? So far the DMD seems to stay inside my playfiled and I can't get it to pop out and move over to the Backgalss/DMD screen #2 yet. With UltraDMD I was able to do it in previous versions of JP's table but I'm striking out on v2.1.0.

I think I have all the latest versions of UltraDMD, Flex and Freezy DMD presentation tools.

Do you have the vb sccript for the ghostbusters table?
If you put that script in the table folder with the table (with same name as table) you should get a flexdmd window that you can drag off to the 2nd monitor

if i could figure out how to do attachments, i would attach it here for you

but you can see it here  https://raw.githubus...limer 2.1.0.vbs

the DMD in the playfield will remain there as well.
If you want to turn it off (once you have the external working)
edit the table, hide all layers but layer 10, then pick the dmd in the table and uncheck visible.

With flexDMD you can move the score to any screen you want
I recommend that you read the whole topic for flexDMD before you start doing things

Great looking Table

Table consistently crashes on me when the ball gets in the backfield and hits one or more of the 3 back ghost busters bumpers.

Here is where it crashes in the script apparently:

Sub DMDDisplayChar(achar, adigit)
    If achar = "" Then achar = " "
    achar = ASC(achar)
    Digits(adigit).ImageA = Chars(achar)
End Sub

I am using VpinballX just installed today with VPX6setup.exe

I'll take a look at the table, but I don't know what that happens since it doesn't happen to me, but I have planned an update next year, with my new physics 3.0 and support for FlexDMD in the same script :)

I've taken a few screenshots.  I'm happy to shoot some video for you too if you'd like.  It's 100% consistent if I bounce off the bumper once its fine but if it bounces of more than once in a row it freezes even if the ball is on it's way back to the main play field.

I have an odd feeling that might have installed 10.6.0 for you

go to this link

Visual Pinball X (Standalone EXE) - VPForums.org

click download

pick the VPinballX61 minimal zip

Extract it into your VPX folder over the top of the existing install

let it overwrite any files it asks to

retry table and see if it does not play right now

That should give you VPX 10.6.1 revision 4188 FINAL

I did have 10.6.0

I have now confirmed that I'm using 10.6.1

the game still freezes when the ball hits one of the 3 back ghost busters bumpers.  the background music keeps playing though

no dice with 10.7 scripts either

When I ran with vpx10.7 the only difference was I had to hold the plunger down longer to put the ball in the playfield.  still froze on the bumpers

thanks for the help though, maybe it will fix some of my other errors :D
