As this table gets closer to a release I want to thank unclewilly for letting me help! Honor is an understatement and hope he doesn't hate me when this is over! :)

Your 3d models made this table more beaufiful randr. :)

But you are right.

i want to say thank you to unclewilly too for allowed me to test his beauty.

Edit: Randr don't you have a Bigfoot toy for whitewater to model in 3d? :)

That would be an amazing update too :)

Thanks. I did spend some time making them but seeing the amount of work that goes into a table is just crazy! Makes you really appreciate the work that goes into these things.

This is just as much your table as mine. The 3d models make the whole table.
Building and coding them is the fun part.
Being as you own one you are gonna make it most realistic by letting me know what to fix.

I'm on the fixes boss ;)

What we should do is get a donation system and buy toys send them to randr to make the models and then resell them and buy more.

He'll even pop bumpers and flash caps would be nice to have as static primitives.

Tom, WCS, White Water, TaF, Totan would be good choices for toys.

Add Jurassic Park to that list, I'll fork out the dough if its reasonable for a smooth moving T-Rex!

Can't wait to try the table, this is one pin that will benefit immensely from these upgrades guys, thanks for your efforts!

I have a few pins in real life, I would purchase some of the others if the monster bash models get good reviews. Don't mind doing others.

After a bunch of testing today I found the big fps killer.

So I'll release the table in 2 versions(both desktop and fs)

One beastly version with higher res moderl and full animations.

The other with a few of the models swapped out for standard vp objects and lower poly toy models.
Should add 100 or more fps to the gameplay for lower and midrange pcs

that's the funny part..  it wasn't so much your models as it was the animated standup targets and rollovers.  when  I took those out I got a little over 100 fps with the low poly models.

went from about 80 to 90  to  200  on my system.

Could probably bump it up more if I changed the bumpers over to vp objects,  but I like the way they look too much.

Could even change the sling animation and get more fps.  but i'll hold off on that till I hear how much bitchin I get after the release.

If no one can play I'll make more adjustments and pull all the moving models except the toys.

But will still release the high res beast of a table as I can still play it smoothly and I think if you can get it to play on your system it is worth it.

Fuzzel with a mid range system as he described it had no trouble playing the high res version.

we'll see.

back to work now

Looks great.  One of my favorite tables. If you want me to test the high res version on my machine I am willing.  I have a pretty fast computer for my VP machine.

First, great work guys!  Can't wait to play this table.  The Frankenstein looks especially improved.

Not to get off topic, but the idea of adding 3d objects to tables that already play great, but could use a visual boost is a great idea... so long as the contributers don't get taken advantage of.  I think Cirqus Voltaire would be another table to (possibly) benefit greatly, and it would only be a single toy to scan.  Just wondering UW, how hard would it be to script the ring master head swinging around?  I have no idea how to script tables, but I assume the hard part would be getting the ball to properly track with the center of the magnet while it's twirling around.

I'm in the middle of a move from Germany to Arizona, and won't have my table for the next few months. :(  So, no I haven't seen it.  I just youtubed "cirqus voltaire" videos uploaded in the last month and found one titled "Revue Cirqus Voltaire" with no description or comments.  Judging from the lighting and animation, it looks too good to be true!  Although I doubt it's an alpha/beta pinball arcade version as it has LED support, and this table hasn't been created in Future Pinball.  I assume it's not a Unity alpha, as those guys certainly would have mentioned it.  Also the playfield DMD is blank, opting to display on an actual DMD so.... hmmm.  I assume FP/Unity or TPA would leave the DMD on the table as it would properly display behind the ramp. ??

Wish I had my table, or at least a laptop capable of running a desktop version.
