I do see exactly what you are describing in the controller settings, but it doesn't launch a ball in VP for tables that expect a launch button, like MM or STTNG.

My question would be, if additionally to what I can see in the controller settings the device will send chr 13 (enter key) signal to VP when correctly adjusted, or if the only reaction is this z axis jump.

Yes, but it was just a single lunar orbit. I'm back now.

:)

We're shipping up to Order #891 this week, and will continue to assemble and ship weekly until we're caught up. Please check your order number.

Thank you.

Oh I see what you mean. Yes I see the same in FP. Tables with an analog plunger can be launched by regular plunge or slam. Tables with a digital plunger need a button press. So I believe there is no function to send the enter key on a slam, no matter the adjustment.

Slam feature works just as it should in my opinion with games that have a plunger and the scripting for the plunger. I'm a purist so to lunch a ball with a slam when it should be a launch button seems crazy. I tried this on mm and did get it to work BUT it worked by slamming the plunger caused a forward nudge which caused ball to roll forward off switch and then back on switch then launched! Honestly just install a button(small or normal launch button) would just make more sense to me. Again just my 2 cents. :)

ok thanks, you could change the webshop information, so people know what to expect, 5-6 weeks, and when you get things on track change it back. Not everybody reads this forum.

In hindsight I probably agree, a digital ball launch on slam is a bit wrong.  In fact for me it isn't necessary as I do have a seperate launch button.

What it would achieve though is removing the Z-Axis jump which seems to adversely affect my regular plunges.  So for me, changing the slam feature to a button press, or (optionally) removing it entirely would solve my issues.  I'm certainly not suggesting that would be appropriate for everyone though!

Hi,

I received mine just a yesterday and tested quickly.  This product is great and was worth to wait.  i love self calibration.

nothing compare to the previous product of another vendor.

This brings me to 4 anothers questions.

1) Can i have an estimate delay if i order a second one today ?   What is the price for 10 ?

2) When a "ledwiz like" included on the hardware ?   Ledwiz + IPAC + This plunger and you have all needed.

3) I also would like to see a full knocker kit on your catalog. I am not happy from my 24V one.

4) last one are 2 personnal one :

Are you looking for a resseller of your pincabs in Europe ?

Any news for "my custom lockbar" ?

Cheers

If it's slamming on a normal launch, adjust the tip back some.

After some more investigation, the plunger is, indeed, programmed to pull back the plunger on a slam, not simulate a button press. I was mistaken in my previous thoughts about it. It was never intended to replace the 'Launch Ball' button, so it is functioning as intended.

1) We should be on track for the estimated 2-3 weeks now. I have a good number of components on their way.

2) We have something in the works ...

3) We'll be offering items compatible with 2 above. ;)

4) Please email me at [email protected], and I'll be happy to discuss quantities and reselling.

Thank you.

That's a shame. I was hoping it would be a good all-in-one solution where I would not have to have a launch button.

Of course, I can certainly install both a plunger and a launch button. It's the most flexible solution, but it is a compromise as well. Install the launch button below the plunger, and it is a bit of an awkward reach during gameplay (ex. setting off a Martian bomb during Martian Attack in AFM).

#849 - I got my packing notice this morning. Thanks!

Of course, the perfect solution would be dedicated cabs, one with a plunger and one with a button, right? That would take some persuasion!

On games with a dual function for launch ball buttons, you can always script it to use both the launch ball and magnasave buttons to make it much easier.

Thank you. All the time I thought I was the only one thinking like this.

Paul, do you see any option to have a kind of firmware update to implement it?

Would be very much appreciated :)

if you use the ipac just program a SHIFT function for the ball launch! lets say hold right flipper and press start...launch ball!! would actually work very good! :) hi Noah... :tongue3:

Why would he be using an ipac, if he has a VirtuaPin controller?

Well I use your wonderful plunger kit but already had the ipacs wired up and working so I'm not utilizing your key encoder. The shift function of the ipac is a nice feature. But your correct I don't know what he is using just throwing it out there as a simple solution is all. I use shift function for all sorts of things, like to pause games hold right flipper and buy in button pauses any game like twilight zone

Talking about me? I currently use a U-HID G. I'm replacing this wholesale with the Virtua Pin kit. The U-HID G by itself doesn't support enough inputs. Plus, I need it for another project anyway.

I'll see if I can live without a launch button. If not, I'll install one. Just trying to limit the number of buttons/inputs on the front panel if I can.

The plunger kit is a real plunger so hole is the same as a real pinball(Williams)
