Found a minor bug. When I shutdown system from menu, LEDclear.bat is not executed.

Also confirm what jasonsmith said about attract mode not working after table exit. However, I tested further and found that this only happens when you exit the table you were playing and do not scroll to another table. If you scroll, then attract mode works again.

Thanks

I had connection problems last night, but I want to inform you that version 1.87 was released. Will update the change log in post 1 later.

Great news, I'll have a few minutes in the morning to play before I go away for a few days.

Looking forward to trying this new menu out.  Has the issue with the HP volume control been raised yet?  For some reason the '-' and '=' volume keys work fine when playing a table directly in VP, but when the table is launched via HP, these volume keys don't work.  You can see the volume indicators moving up and down, but the volume level stays the same.

Cheers.

PinSelect doesn't use DirectDraw it's pure .NET 3.5. You can set DebugMode=Yes in the settings.ini and PS will give you some message boxes if images can't be loaded. What system do you have? Check your database perhaps

there are additional informations in the xml file which confuses PS.

The Backglass doesn't exist. I have only a table Image. Sometimes i have no wheels images, because in FP or VP there are not alway images for backglass or wheels made. I have much done, but with over 200 tables its much work. It doesn't matter for me and HP. Images, find available in the directory are not displayed. The error message that I think is unnecessary. What is there to appear as an image.
Hyperpin also complains not around and displays the available images. Pinselect must be in a position to accept that time an image is missing. In the early versions of Pinslect it was not a problem.

15-20 Images are not In Directory. My collection is always in development. Sometimes I have videos on scrren one, i need no Image, sometime backglass video I need no Image. But in neare future, I am sure Pisnselct will support videos. Pinselct should olways work, so I have all controlls over the selection. Some Images aren't good, so i decide to add it later. That should be not to be a problem for Pinselct. I like Pinselect I want to use it wthout any hard work. I want tp play Pinball and to make the right tweaking to make some tables fuznny play is enough hard work. Pinselect should me more userfriendy. It is yes. But I think its a lot do do to feet it.

Thanks alwys for making Pinselect. I hope in near future i am able tu use it. More possibilities, i think it will make me happy, if i can use it wthout hard work

If you disable the debug mode (DebugMode=No in the settings.ini) you won't see the error message. I have some missing images too and PS doesn't show anything in that case.

It must be Pinselect matter if an image is missing. It should show the existing images. I think the error in the program is understandable. In no system will work satisfactorily Pinselect if this compulsion that all images have to be there, is repealed.

Danke

I've tried everything, but the exe just crashes on startup. No error-message.

I tried the Startup working directory-trick, still crashes. Any suggestions?

I use .net 4.0 and no other version is installed.

Windows 7 x64. FPLaunch wip10.

I tried both 1.86 and 1.87, same result.

so i guess you have a problem with the settings and/or with the database. how does your settings.ini look like? does it crash trying to start an external startup program or while loading the images? try the debugmode to see if PS has problems loading the images.
