This is why we need zebs plug and play board so we aren't hand wiring up boards and screwing up stuff! Well at least I do lol. Zeb how is your board coming along?

@jlydon: Sorry, didn't get that specific with him about R3. all I got is

1/4 watt is fine for R4 & R6

R5 & R6 should be 2watt or higher resistors.

Does your DMD come on when you pull the plug on the PinDMD? I'm wondering if we have the same problem. I'm thinking of changing boards if i cant get this Piggy working.

Does 1 random row light up when you unplug the pinDMD? this is because the DMD loses the scan signal from the pinDMD.

I'm buying a replacement resistor today so I can power it up and then I'll let you all know:)  Also, I'm trying to run my own program, so I'm using an Arduino instead of a pinDMD...though it's obviously not going so well. I see a pinDMD in my future.......

Just to clarify, the ground at J606 is the ground for the entire PSU (5v and 12v) correct?

Are there any 80\100v transformers still available? Finally got around to hooking up everything but was using two transformers, the 80v was an edcor transformer and the 100v is a japanese conversion but every time I power up the 100v transformer fuse blows. I read through this entire thread again and couldn't find a solution to this other than using a single transformer I believe from Rocco. Please if there are any left I definitely want one.

Hi everyone,

Specific to this thread, just an update that my cab now has a real Plasma DMD working perfectly.  This would not have been possible without Rocco's transformer, Russ' awesome board and of course Zebulon's new power driver board (or whatever its called) and immense assistance with... well with everything!

Still much to do, but lots has finally been done, including the installation of many pincab toys.  Zebulon's toys and Randr's IR kits are AMAZING! ... but that will be for another thread ;)

Sorry, I'm all out! Maybe there's enough interest out there to warrant having another 25 or so made?

That's great! I am seriously still in awe each time I power up my plasma display. Makes me happy. :)

Funny I don't even think twice about the plasma DMD, I would never run anything else in a real pinball and totally take it for granted that its just normal! LOL! man i'm an ass huh! GOOD STUFF!
