I have never seen such a flexible real vp artwork. Nothing compares - I love it.

I was looking back through posts trying to get a handle on all the features of the new dip settings when I saw this post by koadic  "I ended up scrapping my first method of head shake so I could get the head moving when the table was nudged (both analog and digital). Ended up being simpler to implement in the end too."

I went back to the table and nudged it, then I nudged it again, and again..  I was just mesmerized just watching the Ringmaster bounce back and forth and the ball roll around.  Suddenly it struck me that I really felt sorry for the new comers to VP! They look at tables like this an think "Oh, decent job, it looks like a real table" or even "this could pass for commercial software"  and that's it!  There's no magic. They see the head bobbing and think "well isn't that what it's supposed to do"  I look back at the VP8 version of this table and it just blows my mind! I mean to have looked at this table a few months ago at a Ringmaster that just magically spit the ball off the top.  The improvements to VP are coming with leaps and bounds and it is just amazing to watch. The whole community is feeding off the creativity of each of it's members and that "think tank" of creativity is pushing the VP envelope further and faster that I dare say anyone could have ever thought possible!  To those just getting into VP I have one piece of advice; Fasten your seat belts, this is one hell of a ride!

I would think the only hard limits on which revisions will work is r681 as a base due to all the new posts and rubbers (static primitives) and possibly r725 if you prefer to use the 'modern' plunger instead of the alpha ramp animated one... I removed the scripting that required the use of 756 or higher, so that is no longer an issue.

EDIT: Scratch that, r727 as a base due to the new terminology used for effecting primitive movement (rotx/roty/rotz), but could be converted to the old commands in the script if somebody wanted to (rotandtra0/1/2). It plays fine on r681 though if those changes are made.

Thanks Koadic! Cause I have my cab just the way I want it and everything works perfect.. (only took 2 years) lol I don't want to update for 1 table to mess up others. I will wait for the other tables to be fixed hopefully. .
Can't wait to play this!

Amazing table.. definitely a masterpiece that sets new standards. Less demanding for my setup than the previous version and I consider it to be playable. Not stutter free though.. still a bit too demanding for my taste.

I have started a new thread to discuss general stutter issues for demanding tables like this http://www.vpforums....showtopic=26158. I don't want to not disrupt this thread with an off-topic and/or very user specific discussion.

The way the Ringmaster reacts to nudging the table is absolutely epic.    The effect is completely realistic with my mot-ion board.

The last versions of CV were pretty darn good, now it's like a master class on what can be done with VP.

Can the intensity of the neon tube be controlled in some way? I think it's just a little bit too intense.

Just export the image(s), lower the opacity to your liking in a graphics program, then re-import.

Beautiful Neon! I love all the versions but I can't decide on one....  So quick question

I've been doing this for a few years but either I forgot or I never learned: How can I have multiple copies of a table like this?  I tried a file rename (on the VPT and EXE) but obviously they're linked to the same "settings" file (in VPSave?). I want hyperpin to load night and day versions from separate entries as I had it before.  How can I have two sets of configs for the seperate vpts? change the gamename?

Thanks for this glorious rendition. I think I'm going to go nudge the ring master!

In the script, near the end is a section called 'InitializeOptions'. In there you will find 'TableName="CirqusVoltaire_B2S"', you just need to change this to something else to be able to save a different set of settings. This way, you can run a day version, night version, etc...

It looks like this table is trying to launch both the B2s.exe as well as the .directb2s.  How can I get it to launch either one or the other?

Which BG is better for this the _B2S or the .directb2s?

If you don't want the b2s.exe file to run, make sure it isn't selected in the menu... If you don't want the db2s to run, select the visual pinmame instead of the b2s server. As far as autolaunching the b2s.exe from hyperpin goes, you can disable this by either renaming the .vpt file so it doesn't end in _b2s or delete the b2s.exe, although I am not 100% sure on the second option as I don't know if it will still try to launch it and cause an error.

I did the naming of the vpt and b2s file how I did it because other ways the b2s backglass wasn't closing properly in hyperpin. :-)
