So it sounds like it'll be out on 360 in just a few days (March 28th)....and PS3/Vita on April 10th.

"Our best guess is that the PC version will be available in May or June. If you want to help us - please email Steam with requests for our game and questions as to when it will be coming out. Thanks!"

Has anyone heard what the options of the PC version will be? Backglass/FS support? Or is it just going to be a direct port of the current software.

As far as supporting Farsight, I have bought the Android version and all the current tables. I'd say I'm already supporting them.

They have previously said pincab support would be something they would add later, but there commitment to it seemed to be honest since they said they've ordered a pincab . It's possible they could have multimonitor support right off the bat but I would guess we'll see both at the same time via a DLC download/purchase.

These guys were just at the Dallas Pinball show this weekend. I talked to them both days and played the new Medieval Madness table on the X-Box platform.
Wow. These are the nicest group of people you would ever want to meet.
I of course brought up the VP cabinet builders and asked if they planned to support the platform.
The answer was a definite YES .
He asked me about the Forums, so I gave him the web site so he can pop in here soon.
The new tables should be ready to download in April, possibly as early as two weeks.

Just wanted to pop in and echo what some others have said. I was at the Texas Pinball Festival both days and talked to the guys at farsight for at least an hour on Saturday. They have at least 2 people that read vpforum on a near daily basis. No further info was provided. It was funny at one point, when we were talking about the forum, he said "so do you know JPSalas?" How crazy is that?
But what I took away from my time with them, is they simply are a group of guys that LOVE pinball. They love working on tables, they love the challenge of trying to achieve perfect physics and ultimate emulation, and want to bring it to people who love pinball (and hopefully have some non pinball converts). This is not a greedy corporate entity trotting out a "licensed" product they know nothing about. It's not perfect. It has it's flaws. But after meeting the guys this weekend, I'm very comfortable giving them money for their product because I have seen just a tiny bit of their passion. They will give it their best effort, despite the constraints of app stores and console networks etc. to bring to the pinball fan, the best pinball simulation they could make.

Sorry that sounded a bit Infomercial-ish, I have no affiliation with Farsight, I just wanted to do my part to try and get the word out they are a good group of guys (and girls?).

I have it, and the sounds & music are very accurate. I did notice that Black Hole had its bumpers made to look like octagons, unlike the actual machine found on ipdb.org, but I don't think it's a bad thing. Hopefully, this problem will be fixed. I wonder if you get the other tables they release after you buy the full version for the Android.

I like how each machine has it's own "start up" sound. Black Hole: "no one escapes the black hole!" Ripley: "Time to Rock!"

I talked to the Pinball Arcade guys several times through the show. I got a pretty good insight into how they go about building their tables. They are just about like our table creators are. However, these guys purchase the machines they are re-creating. They then tear the machine apart to get good detailed photos and then they have guys that simply re-draw playfields and plastics just like our guys here do. They then build the tables and wrap their textures around the 3d models that were created for each table. I was told they have about 30 different machines in their game room and they have licences with several manufactures excluding Capcom at this time. A PC version is in the works and they took my contact info down for possible beta testing. Right now there isn't any firm release dates for PC version, but Xbox 360 should be out via DLC today!

It will be a downloadable game on PSN, there won't be a retail disc version as far as I know.

No disc / cartridge versions have been announced so far. This means that the games will be downloadable for all platforms. Maybe disc / cartridge releases will come when more tables have been made available but I highly doubt that, since almost everybody has their platforms connected to the internet nowadays.

Only a few hours left before the XBox 360 version will be launched!

Probably because of the specific network. Both have regulations regarding the maximum number of games that will be released each week and such. I guess this caused the release dates to differ from each other
