The playfield graphic is redrawn at the start of the table and it can't be changed later. But you can always use a primitive or two, or a ramp or two and make them visible/invisible.

I thought about it

but it's less spectacular , even without graphics, rotation would be possible ?

make playfield clear (use transparent image)

place wall/flasher/ramp 1 unit under the playfield with the intended graphic dictated by the script

Now you have changeable playfield graphics, with full PF reflection etc functions

I've hunted all over and cannot find the way to rotate tables in 10.7.  In 10.6 you just selected Backdrop/Options and changed the degree (0,90,180,270), but I can't find a corresponding option in 10.7.  Am I missing something obvious?

Look again in the backglass/backdrop, the options are divided into several parts.

Thanks for the reply, Kiwi, but what "parts"?  I'm looking for the area where I can set the rotation degree, but it's just not obvious to me as it was in 10.6.

The window is already maximized. I would include a screen snip, but the Forum won't let me paste it in.

At least you have some properties window -  mine closed and there doesn't appear to be a menu option to get it back...
I'd expect under the view or windows menu options to open up menus - but NADA that I can find :/

reg edit

Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Visual Pinball\VP10\Editor\Dock Windows

delete the values there with VPX closed

Re-open it, the docked windows should return to a default state

Thank you VPFVeteran.

Properties back - but options and the table dimensions/POV gone.
It can still be edited interactively via F6 - but I can see where to enter my standard values anymore in the Ux - was it removed for a particular reason?

My old MO was to enter standard base values then tweak via F6.

Well, those tricky programmers!  They hid all the best stuff, but thanks to gtxjoe I'm back in control.

Many thanks!

- fix showing undocked windows if started in minimized mode
- add "Reset Window Positions" button to the editor preferences
- some small UI fixes
- optimize collisions with dropped drop targets (via early out in quadtree, same as primitives) and also optimize cache usage of quadtree nodes
- port Freezys optimization for the flipper collider BBox

No, but i dont think i have a revision going back as far as r297
I have R329

I also do not technically have 2 sound cards
but my laptop sees the speakers, and the headphone jack as separate entities, can play stuff out either one independently at the same time.
Not sure it that counts since it is the same hardware running both, but i can set backglass and windows itself to speakers, and table to headphones
and all backglass and rom sounds come out the the speakers, and table sounds come out the head phones

not noticing any missing

You said especially EM's so i tried batterup home run Jungle Queen and deadpool since it is technically an EM

but i dont know that this setup comes close enough to yours

edit

Ok deadpool dont count it is a 10.7 table

Would it be possible to add per table setting to make just the ball lighter (change it's brightness) ? Or maybe there is a way I don't know of ? On some dark tables which are nice dark, the ball is too dark, and I use override ball image (the same ball for all of the tables).

Probably not.
The ball shows up as it does as a result of the table environmentals and the ball textures

Sometimes you just have to switch the ball to one of your liking, darker tables need a brighter more reflective ball.

For really dark tables, sometimes a mild glowball effect is nice

not glowing orb of nuclear holocaust type of glowing, just a very mild glow

Yeah, I thought about that but for all tables now I use Override ball image global setting in GFX Settings... if I wanted it per table I would need to disable override and set it for all of my tables one by one :(

And for majority of tables I am fine with override settings I have now.

Is anyone else getting weird behaviour with - Ironman (Stern 2010) Siggis MOD 1.0.1 ?

The new rc 328 causes the ball to be stuck on the flippers

i am having another weird behaviour too, on Williams' Indiana Jones: the trapped ball top right hand corner gets "untrapped" at the start of each game. making the game impossible to play.

also on Twilight Zone, the ball got kind of stuck in a very weird way behind the slot machine eject. in a spot it surely never should be stuck...

I have reverted to 10.7 rev310
