The editor with the last 10.7 version always crash while loading the table "The last Starfighter".
Tested on two PC. Load fine in 10.6.

@joey2001 : I expect that it might be the same case as The Web - https://www.vpforums...=44135&p=449461

Good catch.

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

I just need to open my trap here and say "Thanks" to both Toxie and Fuzzel for all the work with this new version, the continuous bug fixes are appreciated.  the level of commitment doesn't seem to slow down with age, thanks lads!

Hi, this is a new issue : when the table is created for 4K screens, texts on the function "Interactive Edit Table"(F6) are too small. It's difficult to configure a table like that.

Example : Elvis (https://vpinball.com.../jps-elvis-mod/)

If you are to re-visit the F6, would it be much work to make the transparent text come up in the right corner instead of the left one ? (option maybe)

For me, the upper left could not be further away from where I want it, getting old and needing glasses doesn't really help on the situation. I expect that most people have the same issue running 270 rotation on their cabs.

Well the camera mode and especially the text in that mode is really more a hack than everything else. I'm afraid we'll have to rewrite that part...

Half the timer problem is fixed, the name changing and the seeing the change in script, but if you set a Interval in the properties, it still jumps back to 100 when you click off of it.

I made a timer and named it Test. Went in script and it was there which is fine. I went back to the table editor and went to the timers properties and changed the Interval from 100 to 10. When I clicked off of the timer and back on the Test timer, the interval was back to 100.

I think it would be the best to have font size for it in the options as well as position on screen (centered maybe) and orientation according to table orientation.

Hi together,

first of all a BIG THANKS to all developers for their work on this great piece of software and for making visual pinball better and better.

I think I found a bug in the actual beta 4075. The ball gets stuck on "Cactus Canyon" and "Cactus Canyon Continued". Here is a short video which describes what I mean : https://www.dropbox.... stuck.mp4?dl=0 . So I rolled back to 10.6 final, tested the tables again, and everything worked fine. Maybe this helps you in any way to make a fix for this problem. Thanks for your efforts.

Does anyone else have the same issues on this two tables?

I'm seeing the same behavior here.  Forgot how gorgeous this table is, wow.  Happens right away on 10.7 but not on 10.6.  Can post video also if needed.

Yes that's what I ment when I said: "I'm afraid we'll have to rewrite that part..." The current way is just a simple text printing function used for debugging purposes. I found a way to rotate the text but there more work to do.

The open angle of the gates is 1.570796, instead of the usual 90 degrees.

I have some WIPs where the flipper material is missing, the rubber material is there.
I don't consider it a problem since I can fix it myself, but if you need it I can provide a table.

Thanks for the hint. This is actually a huge bug because the angle calculation is done in radians internally and the conversion is missing. So this might be the problem for tables where the ball gets stuck (e.g. Cactus Canyon) but haven't analyzed it further.

Fixed in the next update.

Yes, measured myself on a stripped Williams 1965 EM. Can provide photos, too.

No need.  :)  Just wanted to double check where the info comes from, thanks!

A guy I work with measured his ST 25th.  A KLOV member measured his bttf for me.

Thanks for the confirmation. So BTTF is also 20.25 x 42.0?

The reason I ask is because I have informed people to at least use the new core.vbs from 10.7 rev4063 for the added SSF support (not everyone is comfortable jumping in 100% right away) . If it was (1) not working, (2) only partially working or (3) even modified to be better I would like to update people but don't know the specifics. Maybe no one knows but fuzzel and if that's the case I retract the "someone other than fuzzel" statement. :) Thanks again.

@studlygoorite : core - by its name and function is doing basic, but, important stuff. SSF is something new and backward comparability to ancient versions like vp8 and vp9 had some issues. When they write it like they do. It is now - hopefully, finally fixed for all version of vp backwards. I doubt that anything new was added. For those that have upgraded, it will work. For those that haven't - tell them again what they are missing. For those that still run vp8 or vp9, it is recommended to pick core from this release onward. Hope this answers the question for you. This is beta after all, if you install it, you get new features, but, sometimes also things that needs to be "fixed" more than once ;)

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.
