No, I'm thinking a joint project worldwide down the road and people can create whatever table they want. Completely open source. I'm the last person in the world who is the copyright police. I could see issues if someone made, let's say, a copyrighted Stern table using an Unreal or Unity engine program and tried to make some money. Not in this for any money. Just a hobby.

I love VP, FP, FX3 and the entire community. I would just like to see some parallel pinball development (with all source available - not just someone selling pinball assets) with the 3D engines. Still fuzzy on how this would all work.

Former Cab: 40" Haier, 28" I-INC, i7-6700, 1080 GPU, v3DMD, 4D7 solenoids. Altec-Lansing speakers and sub. Artwork by Stuzza. Printing by Brad Bowman. VR HP reverb

Almost forgot, Freezy added the source from Epic Games Japan where they started building a table. Could be a great building block.

I can't cut and paste from work into Explorer. Google GitHub freezy pinball-construction set

There's the history. Check Freezy's last post.

Wow. So much words since my last visit! Some nice, some angry, we understand that.

We did not disappear without "a word". Please read history.

Indeed, we did not update the website license. That is because the downloads were lowering and that we thought it useless as this has been spread on different locations.

We did not "take the money and disappear": using this money, we built a FREE game, developped it and created a gaming experience, available for all. The lack of support regarding table developpement  was really discouraging, and, together with muiltiple personal facts, led to a "death" of the project, at least under this form. We never used thid money for something else than this game, delivered to the community.

For those who still want to develop tables, my videos are still available on my youtube. I understand the table dev process is boring with all runtime recompilation, but this was mandatory on Unity 4.x.

Now regarding development and open source, we still work, from times to time, to the port of it to new Unity versions. The goal is to provide a set of dll to build and develop tables right into the free unity 2017. But useless to say that we don't spend very much time on it. No open source unless it is working.

If people think this is selfish, so be it. We don't care, and we invite them to develop their own open source simulator. With free Unity, this is something people can do from scratch, which regarding the current state of the port, is quite the same.

We are pinball fans too, and we hope we will be abale to play one of your creations!

Oh wow, come out of the hole! :)

If you still got the netproc thing going, that would be nice one day in UP. https://github.com/h...etProc_EvilDead. Might be good for a future reference.

I almost got it working in VP but too much of a scary thought going back to all the work I did on that to get that working again.

Rampantslugs work might interest you too https://github.com/r...nball-framework

I can't load any Future Pinball tables. The program says that some things need to be a certain size, but it won't tell what, and it's also saying that it misses a script file. It doesn't matter which table I load, it's always the same one.

Why is it unit3dpinball.net going to a fake MacAfee page and other random websites?

Yah, I think it's safe to say this project is long gone and long dead.

Nothing to download... not open sourced... and no contact from the authors.

It's clear they have moved on and have no intention of making what they have open source, or even available at all now.

You are better off investing time in a real open source project like VPE which is completely modern and actively developed my many in the community.

Given that they encouraged people to share and host their files.
Does anyone have the table and install files available to download ?

Curious to see what it was like.

so sad :'-(

As the website is down: is there any chance to get last unit3d pinball and tables?

https://www.dropbox....-batch.zip?dl=0

I'll keep that link working until I need my Dropbox space for something else. I think it's everything, but I may be missing something, I don't remember.
