I think once he had a few tables under his belt and had accumulated a nice personal library of flasher images he's been able to develop a method, or work flow and this is how he's been able to update so many tables so quickly....not to mention diligence! :P

I'd been saying for a while that we needed some people to do this....update so many already great tables with just new lighting features, and I'm really grateful LW stepped up to the plate on this as I'm sure once he became comfortable with the process of updating a few tables he could recognize the need.

Thanks in part should also go to destruk for making his permission to mod thread, since now 'blanket permission' has been announced by a fair number of authors (hopefully this trend continues) it's made the logistics for updating tables much easier.

Yea I have a nice set of script code and things I made out and put on notepad so I make them all the same way.. its all commented out so what ever lights I put in I just uncomment. Saves alot of wasted time scripting and having to number flashers. Most of my time is spent in photoshop reworking images and making new things. Then its all about removing all the old objects and gi stuff and placing primitives and flasher objects.. It does take alot of time but nothing compared to building the table. So like dark said if people allow the modding of their tables then its a great way to get something nice in a fraction of the time.. And im enjoying doing it and giving back to the community. :)

Hey Team, JP progress?!

I've modeled and replaced all the targets, lamp stands, and have posts with texture maps for both yellow and black posts.  I've started replacing all the screws and bolts, but as LW mentioned, UW is moving and it will be some time before he can dedicate time to polishing up the code and get everything up to date

Right now, I am thinking of a big problem that I don't know if you will be able to overcome LW, I feel for the challenge you have ahead.

Make sure you do the 8 step gi. This table really shows the fading gi off.
I used it when I did my night mod of totan. Years ago

Personally I like the late 80's and 90's pinball's but I was thinking JP did a Black Knight recreation that could really benefit from new lighting if you were up to changing the pace from more modern games to a classic.  Just a thought, might make some of the older gentlemen happy.  :P
