Uh. Yes, should of course have used the FlexDMD close, since this is a FlexDMD thread :)

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

@jpsalas and @thalamus

unfortunately neither of those worked.

I do have const useultradmd to 1, and registered flex dmd to be used in place of ultra dmd.

When I use jps script i get a flex dmd variable not defined error

Thalamus scripts doesn't do anything

Simply add FlexDMD.Run = False to your sub table1_exit sub, that will stop FlexDMD.

Unfortunately that doesn't do anything, I get a "Variable is undefined: FlexDMD" error

here is my sub (after adding it):

Sub table1_Exit

    Savehs
    If B2SOn Then Controller.Stop
    FlexDMD.Run = False
End Sub

So I figured out why mine was not clearing the DMD For FlexDMD games when Exiting the emulator
I was using lucky1 dll file for my Real Pin to DMD and for some reason it does not clear the screen,  But if I use freezy dll it clears the screen when Exiting the emulator

No it's not working with TNA,  I have tried some ideas from here but my knowledge of scripting is very limited

Try this for TNA

This came out of the script from the minions game that comes with the FlexDMD master

Sub Table1_Exit()
    Savehs
  Controller.Pause = False
    Controller.Stop
    If Not UltraDMD is Nothing Then
        If UltraDMD.IsRendering Then
            UltraDMD.CancelRendering
        End If
        UltraDMD.Uninit
        UltraDMD = NULL
    End If
End Sub

@ vbousquet --  Is this Right?  --  https://github.com/vbousquet/flexdmd

Color is used to set the color of monochroms DMD. By default, FlexDMD uses a classic red/orange color. To use something else,

just add FlexDMD.Color = &hFFFF00 where &hFFFF00 stands for a BGR color expressed as an hexadecimal value.

What are you using to get the right color (Program) Hex

Sorry for the delay; I was busy building my new pincab and less on the code front. Regarding the different issues ;

- FlexDMD should follow the table lifecycle like B2S. The fact that it was not closing was a bug (using FlexDMD.Run = False or UltraDMD.Uninit is recommended but should not be needed). It is fixed in the latest release (0.1.6+)

- FlexDMD does nothing special when exiting ; what remains depends on the DMD library (dmddevice.dll). The best is to stick to Freezy's latest release. Note that it would not be difficult to clear the DMD on exit. I will think about it.

- Regarding how to select the color, you give a BGR hex color value. This means that the first 2 letters after '&h' are the blue component, then the 2 following are the green, then the red. The easiest way to figure it out is to experiment. For example &hFFFF00 is full blue, full green, no red, giving a clear blue tint.

As always, please update to the latest release published this evening from github https://github.com/v...ases/tag/v0.1.6 and report any bug if any !

Well I hope you're having some success doing the new pin cab and thanks for getting back

If I use this combination which I believe should be yellow for the minions game using the script you supplied
FlexDMD.Color = &h00FFFF

I get this error and i am using 0.1.6

That is a VBScript bug. Either of these will work:

FlexDMD.Color = RGB(255, 255, 0)
FlexDMD.Color = 65535
FlexDMD.Color = vbYellow

Thank you

For more info  -- https://www.vpforums...=43569&p=446431

FlexDMD.Color = RGB(255, 255, 0)   --   This one seems to work for all colors
FlexDMD.Color = 65535  --- This one was just some weird color
FlexDMD.Color = vbYellow   ---  This one does not accept all colors it would give me a errorr

Some things I should have explained:

FlexDMD.Color = 65535

This number is the result of converting the &h00FFFF BRG hex value into decimal. The bug is that hex values between 7FFF and FFFF are not handled properly by VBScript, but converting the value to decimal will work.

FlexDMD.Color = vbYellow

This is one of a few predefined constants in VBScript. The full list is available at https://docs.microso...h2c4d9(v=vs.85)

Maybe we should make the devs aware of this ??

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

You can not right click Freezy and save settings for the game that was originally ultraDMD you have to put the settings in the InI manually
If you uninstall flexDMD then you have Re-register the regular ultraDMD
