I have uploaded three tables to my web page. The "Papa Smurf", that you all already know, with just a few small changes. And two new tables: "JP's Nascar Race" and "WOW Monopoly".

I was playing with the idea to make a few tables using a rom and adding my own sounds and graphics, maybe even changing the layout. That didn't went so well and it ended up with these three tables.

I need a lot of more time to find sounds and music for the two rom tables, but I guess it will never happen.

I wasn't going to distribute these tables, since I know what people think about using a rom for your own tables, so I mostly made them for myself, since I had never made those tables before. But after I saw Mopar and it didn't got crucified by using the black pyramid rom, so I thought "what a h*ll I'll upload them" :) They are far from finished, but they are playable (the Papa Smurf table is finished, and it is a desktop table).

Well, use anything you want from these tables, but don't start making mods :)

You can find the tables in my web page, in my signature :)

Greetings

JP

Thanks JP for the WoW mod I love it :)

I need to download that DOF table and take a look. I don't have a setup like that myself but it would be nice to understand it a bit and add it into any table script I make to save others the job.

I take it everyone's setup is different with some people having more DOF options than others?

Everyone's setup is different but uses dof online tool to generate the configs for feedback so if they don't have some toys the trigger is ignored.

And yes you should download the table! ;)

So here's the next one:

I worked the last days on Truck Stop and converted it to VP10. It looks much better than the physmod version, and I did also some corrections to come closer to the original. The table is still under construction (some screws and also some sounds are missing), but it's fully playable. Presently, only the FS version works. If everything goes well, the next update will include everything that is missing yet.

You can find the table here: http://www.goertz-od...TS_VP10_WIP.vpx

For those who would help the table devs: I'm interested in feedback regarding fps (with info about GFX card and CPU).

Have fun!

Heino

Heino:  I will be testing your table shortly, thanks for sharing.  I'll ensure I report back with my PC stats and frame rates for this table.

First post updated with this table and version number of Randr's new DOF tester table.

TS looking good.  Something strange about the physics with the flippers and the ball.  I had it behave weirdly, but have to play more to figure out whats up.  How much time do you have into this conversion to VPx?  curious.  thanks

Ball sticking up top too. Joystick works plunger but doesn't hit the ball. Not your fault, and the devs are well (trust me) aware of the plunger issues.

I didn't check the fps, but played nice and smooth. There may be issues I did not run into, but I like what I played of it.

i7 at 3.5ghz, runs perfectly smooth. I pressed F11 and saw around 350FPS, never saw any slow downs.  Flipper aiming is excellent.  I also got the ball stuck as indicated above.

Will be another stellar release me thinks :)

Thanks for the feedback, guys!

Hmmm, weird ...

I never had a ball stuck. I tried several times to reproduce that behavior, but I had no luck. So there must be something that I didn't think off. I'll keep investigating ...  :hmm:

@Slydog: it took one week approx. to convert the table (it was rebuild from the scratch)

I have 196fps avg fps on this table. (core i5 3450 / ATI Radeon R9 290).

This table is sooooo much fun! The sounds are funny and it plays great! Had no issues so far!

Edit: Now i had the ball stuck too. It happend directly after shooting the ball with the plunger.

Screenshot: http://workupload.com/file/QfhhKiN0

Btw, the ball got loose after pressing space (tilt?)

Thanks Talantyyr for feedback and the screenshot

Hmmm... what the hell is going on there? There's enough room between the 2 ramps (64 units).

AAAHHHH... during writing this post I've got an idea... I have to hurry to get VP started ...
