I connected exactly like this. I thought I had made a mistake.
I do not understand.

do you think this is a component that burn? or track?

There's no way for me to tell vulbas, I can't diagnose it over the internet. It could be any of those or a weakened solder joint or any number of things.

Can you give me more info on it? Did it work and then stop? Which port it is? What you have connected to it?

The boards arrived, still waiting on back-ordered parts but started assembly with what I have. I'll be shipping in order of payment and figure to have them all out by the 22nd Sorry for the delay guys, but the one critical component (the DC-DC converter) is coming from China and I'm sure is held up in the xmas rush.

On the plus side, the extra time has allowed me to finalize the burn-in setup guaranteeing that every board will be pre-set at 30v (knocker) and 24v (contactors) and 100% bench tested and verified working before shipping.

Some pics...

Looking great.

That you have time for extra testing is super.

Nothing more disappointing than waiting for a product that does not work.

LOL...that's my biggest worry every time I release a new design. Pretty confident about this design though, I've spent a ton of time on it.

Hi Zeb I'm just doing a prelominary test if the revised board. Ive hooked up the PSU and its all good so far. ill be teating it with toys in the coming weeks. Just a question. The board powered up instantly as expected when the PSU was connected and powered on. In the manual it says: "Switching is integrally designed into the board to allow the power supply to turn on and off with the cabinet main power switch." How is this designed to work?

I've hardwired the pwr_on pin to ground on the pcb and hardwired the pwr_good pin to 5vdc. The power supply will come on with the mains power when the cab is switched on (last I checked, the majority were powering off the mains to the cabinet when not in use.) In other words, the power supply is always on unless you switch off the mains to the supply (the switch on the back of the power supply) or switch off the mains to the cab.

This is the same method I used in my arcade cab. Just like my arcade cab I'll planning on making a Maxx style cab mains powerboard that's powered on when the PC is switched on with a pushbutton under the front of the cab. This will work perfectly!

Yay! Received mine today.

One of the boards is a little "squeezed" but I hope it is all right.

If you have to straighten the Mosfets make sure that the metal tabs at the top aren't touching each other or anything else (they go "Live" when the board is in operation.)

Glad to hear they made it there and thanks for letting me know.
