usb dot matrix driver board - who wants one?

Here in Germany there´s a shop, where you can buy dmd´s direct at
the customer PinLed 20002.

The red DMD costs 189,-€
the orange 199,-€
and they also have an blue(!) DMD for 399,-€

shipping to USA will costs 25,-€
shipping to the UK costs 20,23€

for sure! but are these the ones that need more power than 5v? i want to make sure its going to work with Russ's board before i purchase it......

Curious as to why the picture of the blue PinLED display shows a simliar line from top to bottom like the fault on yours Russ?

where are you gonna put the dmd lol?

@maxxsinner my dmd display had a dead pixel that also shorted out an entire column lol, that picture just has a line as part of the image its drawing hehe smile.gif, they are NOT connected lol smile.gif

could every one on this list who hasn't already, send me an message with your email address ready for me to send paypal invoice to once the boards turn up smile.gif thanks.

i put the back led monitor a bit up and
create a new single dmd board underneath.

the single dmd board have also speakers on each side.

Here is the instruction link to the PinLED boards above and how to install them correctly, incase anybody has ordered these.

Of course these instructions tell how to wire them up to a real pinball machine, not a virtual pin that is run on a PC.

Russ sent me new firmware with instructions on how to update the pinDMD. Was a walk in the park to follow the instructions and I now have the HP logo (with BBB persmission) on my cab when scrolling through tables! drinks.gif Great bit of gear Russ!

ahhh nice one glad it went smoothly smile.gif, im normally very crap at writing instructions lol smile.gif

was a right pain when doing hackers for some reason lol.



im thinkin maybe have pinmame have a quick read of a txt file before it loads to read the logo data then i dont have to store it on the firmware and we can have anims smile.gif and all people need to do is update the txt file to change that logo anims smile.gif
