Nice Jack-bot score Crazy DarnFool Duck,
which version you played?
The VP8 version is much slower, it is also easier.

I deleted all my old VP8 highscores when the new VP9 version appeared.

Look at my post with the Twilight Zone score post.

It says VP8. Does that answer your question?

Anyone mentioned Twilight Zone? ^^

Big score Shooby Doo, congratulation.

I'm to bad on Groni's Masterpiece The Twilight Zone, round about 2Bil. points only.

You are right ANDROID,

for a competition, we must play under the same conditions.

One should not forget, I only play pinball for fun. dblthumb.gif

Same for me, for Jack*Bot I'm only curious if adjusted slingshots make for a less frustrating experience. The issue for me in general is not to make tables easier to get more scoring but to increase the similarities with the real life pins. I for one, think GRONI's slingshots are more realistic than vanilla JP.
If the tournament system comes into place here at the forums we're set because then you can only compete with "regulation" tables that are the same for everyone. Till then we'll have to have a gentleman's agreement not to cheat with adjusting tables to make them easier,

Great score! And quite a short but very to the point summary of your game... :-)
I'm having trouble to get into the groove again on this table, although I did manage a 40M game yesterday.
I fear I will have to bow to you soon.....and then rightfully so offcourse!

I was dominating at TOTAN table when my last ball was drained from the center hole. My idiotic greed has led me to swiftly press the "T" key wich is the bang back feature. Needless to say that i pressed the "R" key if i'm not mistaken and the STUPID INFORMATION WINDOW POPPED UP causing VP9 to crash and i couldn't input my initials for bookkeeping. I reset VP9 and voilá, my score shows on the display so i'm in right to display it:

I rescued the princess twice, got mad skills at multiball modes and kept my head really cool:

NVRAM (Pointless but it proves my point)

I don't care if it doesn't sound official. I'm pissed with VP9 VPMAME, i'm pissed with my own stupidity and i will not abide of this score just because i haven't input PMV on the board.

Hi Harakiri,
Awesome score! While you haven't put your initials in, I am more than willing to recognize that you soundly beat my 96M, and by a very far stretch! How much time did this game take? I'm not sure if this is going to be beatable, I for one find it too hot to play because my PC is at the attic and temps there hover around the 35-40 degrees celsius. Fortunately we got some rain yesterday which cooled things off considerably.
All hail the new TOTAN king!
Slam23

PS: I've had my share of VPmame crashes, especially with VP8 Indy '93 at which my unofficial record is around 6B instead of the 4,5B that I have officially. I also had heartbreaking crashes at LOTR and MM. VP9 seems stable enough though, sometimes it's more script error than problems with the software itself.

Thanks both of you!

@Slam, i'm not sure how many time i kept playing the table but i believe it was more than an hour. I still can't believe that i managed to stretch the score so much, i skipped dinner and focused entirely on it... biggrin.gif

During multi-ball modes i played like a troll on ecstasy and it helped a lot! I'm sad that it ended abruptly but at least the score was kept... :P

Yes it is! Because you could have spent that time building another wonderful table!!! tongue3.gif Just kidding offcourse, nice having you around in this thread and good to see that you are actually enjoying playing your creations too. What happens when you double that score and you go over the 10M? Great score!
