I not understand "highest flip speed to date"...reset rom with F3 ???

 

I had 3 scores:

-631.000 >HFSTD=754

-1.400.000 >HFSTD=767

-2.000.000 >HFSTD=985

HFSTD is the speed that is clocked after you shot down all the defender DT's in front of the left ramp. The orange Captive light at the base of the ramp is now lit and the next shot through the left gate will start a countdown from 1000 to zero. The moment the ball hits the upper right rollover target the countdown is stoped and that is your Flip Speed shown in the yellow PF display. If it's high enough it will be stored in the red PF display as the HFSTD.

 

On older versions of the table the countdown ran in an endless loop and the upper right switch was nothing more then a random thing.

 

985 must be a bug because because i clocked an almost perfect shot at 795. 985 means that the ball has maybe 0.1sec to travel around the table.

 

To reset your rom you have to delete the nvram and maybe the registry entry for that table.

what you win with HFSTD ??? nothing ??? what is the point for the score ???

 

you can see on the video , first ball in game , the score HFSTD  is 991 , when he shoot only 595

There is something wrong with his PF display. When it shows the bonus score there should only zeros in the red part ( 15 000 for 15,000 bonus score ). There is no 1 bonus point to have a bonus score of 5,111. Smallest bonus is 1,000 points.

I delete the nvram and my fastest flip is now 792.

And in my first four games I've got a new personal highscore.

Got a new great highscore. Post a screenshot tomorrow.
And my new fastest flip is 948. So it's possible. :-)
But I think, it only happens during multiball.
I haven't see it, but I think, I've shot two ball fast enough in a row and it counts 948.

Does extra balls work, cause in this era machine, it’s not in F6 setting but coin door self test settings #17?

Anyway my extras are on with an nvram removal.
