Tried other settings in config.yaml, none of them seem to have any impact on the crashes.
Here are a few more log files, most of them single games.

Deleted Profile, Git pull:
Even better, I was able to finish one game. 3 more crashes during the following games. Perhaps it did corrupt _default.yaml in the first game? I have included it with the logs.
I wonder what is different on my configuration - I use W7 prof x64 en-us with region settings English (US) and German keyboard layout. I've tried EN-US keyboard layout in the last game, didn't make a difference (maybe because _default.yaml was already corrupted)
UAC is off, running as admin. File ACLs for c:\P-ROC and c:\Python26 are Everyone:F. Hotfixes are up-to-date, no virus scan or Windows Defender. Not very smart I know, but I don't use the cab to access the internet so a on demand scan w/ an bootable USB stick every now and then should be enough.
Maybe deinstalling and reinstalling python would be worth a try?

and Jaws... and... and.... and...
They take a long time to finish on your todd. I jump in between hobbies frequently to save boredom and losing mind into one project but will always come back. To relive boredom / chore feelings for these games you can jump between doing code, table work, sound, testing etc and slowly but surely it starts to come together. Motu's playfield scares me of the artwork I have to do there when I look at the whitewood. Jaws doesn't have too far to go to be playable, minting it up can be done whenever as improvements, as long as placeholders and code is done we're all good.
I have been off VP for quite some time apart from making the HiScore API in the summer, then I made a jukebox, now back for however long I can handle it for. People are welcome to help anyway they want to but it never happens. Most of the time it is just want want, moan moan. That is not me having a go, that is just how it is. So you have to forgive me for not making some half baked games public but you'll get them eventually.
you aint got to tell me... took me 1.5yrs to finish CARtoons...

OK got it, should've known
- Micheal made this fix a little while back. https://github.com/m...r_vpcom.py#L130
- Add this line in and register the VPROC again.
- Now you have to go back in, comment it out (If this is not, you won't get sound from the display unless it's clicked the whole time when playing in VP)
- Register VPROC again and it's gone
Uncommented out doesn't override that flag again, its set permanent. That probably works with py2.6 as well.
You could use this one. I added Solenoid and Solenoids for the fast flips.
https://github.com/h...-visual-pinball
Edit: Added a script in that repo to automate all that gubbins. Should only be 3 steps to fully install and does the register/rename for you.
Ok. R6034 really really likes me.
When I uncomment the fix (line 130) in register_vcom.py R6034 is gone, and sound is inactive unless the window is active like you described
When I comment it again and re-register R6034 comes back
Tried python proc_env_fix.py - R6034 is still there
I've now renamed \P-ROC and reinstalled it from scratch, \P-ROC\tools is a clone of https://github.com/h...-visual-pinball
I suggest I go back to ignoring R6034 ![]()
ED starts now (thanks for giving me access)
When starting a new game w/ quick start it gives me an undefined variable profilePath in my_modes\BaseGameMode
When creating new player profile the letter selection has small fonts (I have set desktop_dmd_scale to 2 in the game's config.yaml, but it looks even smaller then 1x)
After creating the profile game seems to crash.
Jaws starts w/o issues, I can launch a ball, but not flip ![]()
