Think its time I play this one again ......... finally picked up my real one today. Flippers on newer sterns seem really nice for tricks and passes.

One of the guys that plays on our local one got 1,680,000,000 couple of weeks ago. Got Valinor twice. Almost 3hr game.
We took video of Valinor and I think its been post on AAforums linked to facetube.

Hey EDY...what do you think about real pinball and visualpinball? don't you think some real pinball are more difficult? although i think i am a good player in both speciality...i think it is very hard made bilion points on some table like LOTR or other...at the same way some real table are much more easy than the VP table...

It all depends on the vp author or the tables.

With LOTR, the real pin is harder than JP"s , but easier than Groni's.

I would never have dream that I would get more on the real TOTAN over VP.

I think ripleys is a hard vp table, and hopefully soon I will get the real one to compare.

thx for the clear answer...for example...now i am playing the real BIG BUCK HUNTER PRO and i think is a very fast and hard table (you can't miss a shot that you lose the ball...)my best score is 54 milion and never complete all the mode..especially 'cause shot 20 time the buck during the final multiball is really near at an impossbile thing! have you never try this? this game if is not in great condition and in perfect axis is a drain monster!

Havnt seen a BBH yet, need to find some newer Sterns ..... they be fast.
Only newer one I played was ACDC ..... he's fast and has superdrain outlanes.

My mate has a few Sterns, have only played LOTR, ELVIS, PLAYBOY and AUSTIN POWERS.
Elvis is harder than VP .... for now.

You sir, are in another league, or rather maybe from another planet! Nice Valinor Multiball, my high on that mode was around 350M but I'll have a tough time coming near your 2B......

Did you know that "playing pinball" is called "flipperen" in Dutch? Now you know and may your life be enriched by this arcane knowledge....

thx u very much guys! i post the new high scores over 2 bilion... i really find the jpsalas table fun (but sure easier than other authors)...consider that i play every kind of multiball "on the fly", 'cause i dont like catch and stop a lot of ball on a flipper and adjust them for an easy shot...i can stop a ball, but only when i remain with a 2 ball - multiball....with this game i have made a great "ring frenzy mode" with hundreds milions points "on the fly":

LORD OF THE RINGS
JP SALAS 2.3
VP 9.12
DMD: DAV
SCORE: 2,285,933,450

over 2 bilion with the 1st ball! (and the last 3 extraball immediatly loses...) 2h and 40 min game....next time, after a great ball, i want to try to pause the game and finish it when i'm not tired...(next day).

Hello gang,
My system drive failed on my computer, it gave me 8 full years, but all my VP8 and VP9 files were stored on there. I am in the process of trying to run chkdsk to repair the bad sectors, if possible, from another computer onto the failed HD. The Repair Option, Exit, or Install option in Windows Recovery with the original winxp CD doesnt work. It will be awhile before I can update, if at all.
If someone wants to continue updating the HS, then please update all 5 Spreadsheets including any new players or authors..MUCH APPRECIATED.
Peace out!!! ANDROID

you have to connect your old drive to another computer (using an usb adapter or with an internal s.ata or ide cable) and try to extract the file with some kind of software like testdisk 6.13 or ontrack easy recovery professional...the 1st utility is free...i have always obtained great results with these 2 applications.

with this nice 4 hour game I declare myself Lord of the Rings dblthumb.gif

8 specials (plus a match, LOL), 7 destroyed rings, THREE Valinors!!! (though I never got more than 70 mil out of one, dunno how to score big in those)

had to get 200 mil with my last possible ball for world champion (?) and got over 600

btw this was my first LotR game in several months and only intended to be a quick test round... didn't go as planned dry.gif
