Had to take a few days off from recording audio. Had a problem with repetitive motion injury. Had to ice my right forearm during that time. Should be back on recording audio for the table in a few days.

I have that! I call it "trying to get up for work"! No, honestly, I have rotater cuff damage in both shoulders (due to working NYC garment trucks for 20 years) and carpal in both upper arms from same era. so no repetitive stuff for me either as my poor ol' broken down bod just can't take it anymore...sux getting old(er)... tongue.gif

About 10 weeks ago, I woke up and a pain was in my trapezious muscle(muscle behind the shoulder). If I reached out, down, or tried to tuck a shirt in, the pain was incredible. The pain went from there to the tricep, elbow, then forearm. No therapy yet, but....lets just say it is interesting sleeping in one position(on stomach makes it scream!) and being careful to NOT push or grab anything with the left arm over 5 pounds. I have theories, as my doctor has, but I think this is a long drawn out process. Yes, it SUCKS getting old. I'm sure part of it is due to repetive movements, or could be bursitis or tendinitis, or hell, just arthritis. Things are getting better, but working with restrictions is aggravating.

Back to the table - take your time. What has been done so far is incredible. My hat is off to you.

Maybe somebody will invent a mouse that you can use your tongue (or some other body part) to move the cursor with.....actually, can you lick a touch screen interface without ruining it? ROFL biggrin.gif

I wonder if someone DID do that and it's on youtube?

they exist for wheel-chair bound and MS victims and the like but either you convince your doctor or you shell out huge bucks for one. Like around 10,000$US for a mouse that uses either tongue pressure or blowing and sucking into a tube. biggrin.gif

Just a little update on my table: got about two-thirds of the audio clips recorded and edited. Progress got halted for a couple of days due to a friend of mine buying as 4-pack of the game Borderlands and giving me a copy of it. Been loving the game and stayed up a couple of nights working on it. Got finished with the single player mode and now can get back to working on recording more audio. biggrin.gif

Another little update. Was experimenting on another table to test out some things and got a little creative and created a treestump. Added it to the table. Will code in the "animation" for the treestump later.

Every update keeps getting better and beter. I kept wondering when the stump would be a part of the table. A VERY big part of the show. biggrin.gif Outstanding!

Treestump was blocking the lowest turret path so moved the turret next to the water tower. Also coded in the "animation" on the treestump.

so does the stump open? how did you do the animation for it? I'd like to try some animation on my pins, but have no clue how to start.

Basically I have two drop targets for the animation. One drop target is the same shape as the main part of the stump but is 1 unit higher and makes the stump entrance look closed. The other drop target is behind the stump and is up only when the ball is ejected from the stump to simulate the stump opening. On the first drop target, I used the same image as the side of the stump, on the second I used an image of a cut tree where you see the rings. I used the same for the top of the stump except I filled it in a ways with black for that secret entrance look, only it showed as all black, so I have to try to remedy that as I want a little wood showing around the top edge of the stump. biggrin.gif

Here's a link to the table with the stump in place. Have to have the ball drain in the underground playfield for it to kick out from the stump.

Getting close to done with the audio capturing. Just have to search for the episodes with the underground agents in them.

Have to put the audio recording on hold as I got a huge project to due for my aunt. Worse-case scenario, will take two weeks. I can still do graphical stuff though and have done some more graphics tweaking of a sort. Did away with one of the wire ramps as I thought it looked out of place, also changed the texture of the water tower and placed a kicker in it for the ball to shoot out of it. Started some work (not completely finished) on the barbed wire fence and will use it as a filler of sorts on some of the more plain looking areas that I can apply it too.
