Super fast return from the right hole though, drains it in the middle if you don't put up your right
flipper which bounches it right on the door!
Fren knows better than me (and you might too), but that's pretty close to what happens in real life; if you watch any video (there's on PAPA.org did and one Buffalo Pinball did), someone at some point says to hold that flipper up. I do think, though, that some randomness can be put into that kicker.
I will say this, however: that solenoid, like all the solenoids, are adjustable in the menu. I might get around to implement a maintenance mode (which would require saving variables to a file, and of course reading them from the file in the first place), so there's a glimmer of a hope that at some point in the future you'll be able to adjust that kickout, as well as lots of other stuff.
There's some variable adjustment but if you go much more than default you run the risk of draining even when the flipper is up, which would be ...less than ideal!
I think the ball should bounce up further left, but I was draining more often if I adjusted the kicker that way, I think even a half degree of kickout, so it's really fickle.
as for the other kicker issue, it's a couple things, I believe the issue where it floats like that is a VPX bug, however I have noticed that if it kicks from that hole, and you immediately flip back to the kicker, it never kicks back out. I think that was a script issue, like a timer or something, but I just haven't sat down to fix it yet.
Someone also said they still got the ball stuck in the basement area, I haven't had this happen since I adjusted the kicker sizes though. Anyone else encounter this?
