Super fast return from the right hole though, drains it in the middle if you don't put up your right

flipper which bounches it right on the door!  :love39:

Fren knows better than me (and you might too), but that's pretty close to what happens in real life; if you watch any video (there's on PAPA.org did and one Buffalo Pinball did), someone at some point says to hold that flipper up.  I do think, though, that some randomness can be put into that kicker.

I will say this, however: that solenoid, like all the solenoids, are adjustable in the menu.  I might get around to implement a maintenance mode (which would require saving variables to a file, and of course reading them from the file in the first place), so there's a glimmer of a hope that at some point in the future you'll be able to adjust that kickout, as well as lots of other stuff.

There's some variable adjustment but if you go much more than default you run the risk of draining even when the flipper is up, which would be ...less than ideal!

I think the ball should bounce up further left, but I was draining more often if I adjusted the kicker that way, I think even a half degree of kickout, so it's really fickle.

as for the other kicker issue, it's a couple things, I believe the issue where it floats like that is a VPX bug, however I have noticed that if it kicks from that hole, and you immediately flip back to the kicker, it never kicks back out. I think that was a script issue, like a timer or something, but I just haven't sat down to fix it yet.

Someone also said they still got the ball stuck in the basement area, I haven't had this happen since I adjusted the kicker sizes though. Anyone else encounter this?

thanks for the quick reply shoop!

It's fine as is, just that if I don't remeber to guard with the right flipper up it immediately drains.

Quick and fun table indeed. Great progress.

Is thear a fix to get all the music + sfx to go in the main speakers and the tables mechanical effects like drain/trhough to go to the second card?

As of now, I have the music from the inside of my cabinet and the sfx from the DMD speakers.

Would ne super neat with a fix if possible

Cheers!

For the VPX version, it does this already. The sounds are set to come through BGOUT so as long as your VP Settings are right, this already happens. If you have them backwards it doesn't really work...

aGbdmCK.png

Top right sound output device is mechanical sounds, bottom right is music and callouts. If you have these set up correctly, the music and the callouts will play from the bottom right device, while the mechanical sounds will play from the top right.

In the script, mp3s (from the music folder) are labeled as bgout_, this automatically plays them through the BG device. Then if you open the sound manager, you see most of the sounds (all the 3 letter.WAV files that are the voice callouts) are set up with a *BG* in front of them - those will play from the BG device, anything without the *BG* tag will play through the other device

Not in the official download section, only at the first post in this thread, which contains link to both my 9.9 Beta version and Frenetic's VPX Beta+ version (I say Beta+ because it's probably as close to being finished as my code currently allows and the fact that VPX is still in Beta too), or the VPX only version is available at Outhere's link.  I will say, all the amazing work that Frenetic did will allow me to pull over the art, primitives, and what-not into VP 9.9 so I'll be able to make it official and put in the official download section.  What I'm curious about is whether this is considered an original table or a recreation.

It's technically a re-creation, but that usually implies some degree of a ROM and use of VPM.  But, I'm working on re-doing the code mostly from scratch to incorporate version 20 of the code (currently it's on version 15).

EM recreations don't use a ROM either.

VPX?

Did you set up the LMEMDOFTables.txt as the readme stated?

If you wish to use the included B2S, navigate to your Visual Pinball\User folder and create a Text document, name it LMEMDOFTables.txt

In this file place a single number:
0 - No controller (no b2s, technically not needed)
1 - B2S - this will be most common
2 - B2S with mechanical sounds disabled! This is for those buggers with all the fancy contactors and solenoids and strobes and such. You know who you are!

Nah dof works with 1, 2 disables the mech sounds. Some people want this, some don't, but I have DOF working just fine with option 1 on AMH. Have you updated DOF lately? The AMH addition is fairly new

Thanks guys!
Yes, I should have the latest DOF as I have the config-puller-scripty :)

I'll double check. But it would be correctly launched as I can see the B2S-back glass, or?

Think - visible back glass = working DOF

I don't know what your normal start button is, it works fine with my normal start button, which is default (1). Are you entering coins first?
