High gang, dropped off of this Topic for a little while while doing my build with a buddy of mine. Cabinet together, primed and painted black. I'm installing PC, Sound system, Fans and all the button along with a VirtuaPin controller board and Digital Plunger. My order is in for my WideBody rails legs, coin door, glass trim etc..... so I'm about 3 weeks out to having a completed machine without my graphics. I took Stuzza Pinball Universe graphic and modified it with some additional Game graphics and swiched the Starfield background. Let me know your thoughts on my editions. I'm going to take the suggestions and make one last mod before printing.
So any suggestion would be welcome. Thanks to all who critisize or participate.
Firstly well done and it's great that you have found my artwork useful. I'm happy people are taking these and modifying to their own liking. A few tips:
1. All the elements are too evenly distributed. ie. there is nothing drawing your eye to any particular part. if you look on my original version I used the galaxy symbol to help focus your eye on the centre point. The company logos were then coming off of this symbol and the rest floating around.
2. Some of your game logos have the white glow effect and others do not. Change all of them to have it for consistency.
3. Try and centre your galaxy logo in the back box better. Also note that you can see the edge of the graphic you used for the galaxy in the backbox. use the Gradient fade effect to blend it in to the empty black space.
4. The spacing between the words pinball and universe looks a bit too far, try pulling them in towards each other a bit more.
5. The bride of pinbot graphic is too square. Try and find another one with her cut out instead.
