made a pretty significant reduction in ramps. Should make a pretty noticeable difference. My machine isnt the greatest and Im playing on full quality alpha ramps now with about the same fps as 50% alpha quality on the table previously. so 50% increase in performance i guess? Got rid of quite a few unnecessary/non visible walls also.

Does anyone know if I would see better performance in a wrapped graphic as opposed to a world graphic for the alpha ramps? I would think there would be a difference but maybe someone knows for sure?

Just tried your wip table. Great atmosphere & the background music fit well imo. And it plays smooth for what I've seen.

I didn't get to the multiball & almost didn't lit anything, it's a pretty tough table (or I'm not awake enoug).

There might be something wrong with the score display :

Working with WizardsHat to put in a longer alpha numeric display.
going for 2 lines with 16 characters per line. This will allow me to do more with the display to tie in with the events.
artwork is at about 98% now.

If you use the Hat's alpha numeric display, it will be very easy to add a B2S backglass if you are thinking of an FS release.

Yeah I plan to do a FS version eventually. Youre right, this will make that transition a whole lot easier.

Yeah Im going pretty advanced with mine.
Im going to dabble with the custom DMD software and make some fun animations and whatnot.
Im going with a totally different style of play than the zombie machine.

The Zombie machine admittedly has a very similar rule sheet to Funhouse and Addams Family. The two machines I have played the most and I actually owned a Funhouse machine myself for about 6 years. (still regret selling it but I had wedding expenses smile.gif)

So I need to finish a few of the playfield plastics. Ive got a couple small changes Im going to add to the playfield image itself. And I need to complete the backdrop. Then the table will be released for everyone to download.

As it turns out, I'm making a few big changes. They are for the better though trust me.
I never liked how empty the back left corner of the cab was and couldn't find anything that fit. So I've changed up the ramps a bit so the rear left section of the ramp is angled back into that corner. that has opened up some space around the church so I'm going to make the church a bit larger to fill up the space.
In addition I've opened the entrance for the cop car ramp. I felt the shot was too tight and affected the flow of the table. Went from 85 to 110 and it's way nicer. It also made the xball/million shot a little tighter which is another plus.

The changes are just cosmetic so it's not really going to push back the release much. It's just something that would have bothered me had I not done it.
Flashers are getting an update also that looks really good.
