He wrote back.

Hi Brian

Many thanks for the concern. I am fine (just enjoying less time on the pinball).

Cheers

Well, if he's happy, then I'm happy. He's had a lot of stress with family health of late so maybe it's good he's taking in less stress.

Hi all, good to see you all are still at it. I can't believe what has happened, but I just took up another hobby. I started playing golf, to get me from behind the computer sometimes. I still love FP though, so I am glad I found you folks still keeping it alive. As for Black, he will do what he needs to do. As for all of us, it will only die if we let it. I still plan on doing other tables and updates to my existing ones. I'm just glad to have found all of you still alive...............

Hey guys. Yeah, I'm glad I found all of you again too. Yes it has been a very long time since I've heard from any of you. Real life took a toll on my time and once I noticed the FP forums were gone, I just dropped it and took up golfing. I will continue to play golf, but I do want to get back into FP, so here I am. It may take a while for me to get going again, but at least I have somewhere to do it now.

A big congrats to you Gravy. Fatherhood is a good thing. I have three daughters. I missed a lot of their lives when they were young, because I walked away from the relationship. I have always been there for them though, but not as I should've. My youngest is 18 now. We are all very close now, because all of us are amusement park junkies. Every year, I buy us season passes to King's Dominion and we tear it up all season long!!! Anyway, good luck with the family and again; congrats.

Back to pinball. My first project will be to totally redo my first creation, which is the Halloween table. I think I will redo all my tables in the order they were created. Meanwhile, I will come up with some new concepts, all which will be listed in the WIP section. Again, it is good to see all of you are still keeping the ball rolling. It would be a shame to see such a talented group of people and an excellent program vanish into thin air.................

I don't see why we should. The service here has been excellent with great hosting and a bunch of awesome features. While FP does get pushed under the rug a little, it is much better than the suppression of though and opinion that went on over there. While I would like to see FP get a little more use in table development, I am perfectly content with staying here.

Noah does an excellent job handling both. I don't see why we need another forum. I like both FP and VP, and I feel like I get the best of both here.

Just an FYI to anyone wondering... I've been lurking here for a while and haven't posted much. I'm obviously upset by the whole FP situation, but refuse to take sides and don't have an opinion on the whole thing as of yet. I will probably repost a Blue Vs. Pink release thread since I was a tad unhappy with the lack of overall reception it got (though what little reception it did get was pretty positive). If I do design another pinball table (I have plenty of concepts already laid out) I will definitely be releasing them for Future Pinball. Blades of Glory 2 may be resurrected in attempt to revitalize FP at the moment, but I make no promises due to time constraints with real life (what else is new with me?) Thanks,

Brendan

I randomly found this post while looking for something else. I just wanted you to know that I love this table. It is one of my all time favorites.

Better late than never, I guess. smile.gif

Thanks

Whilst the FPF was run by JUST one man, VPF is run by a staff of hundreds of people who don't get mad and tear down the forum just like what happened with FPF.
