Boy, this has gotta be maddening for you, Wrd, but I'm getting a lot of stutter with the latest version. Tried all sorts of settings.
I am not seeing the same issue here. I am still getting 160 FPS with setting zero. Anyone else having stutter issues?
Please press FN + F11 to view your FPS in the corner when playing. Please provide FPS to me for the 0 setting and the 1 setting in the table FPS adjustment.
Tonight I will send you a de-functioned set of code for you to test. I would like to isolate the issue.
I'm getting 108 FPS at both 0 and 1 settings. Thanks for looking into this wrd. It's still a totally playable Dr. Dude experience, just not as butter smooth as your last version on my machine.

Todd is a great guy, very funny. I called TNT once and asked about a coin door to the person who answered the phone, she transferred me to Todd and he answered "Coin door department". Just a nice guy.
todd has a "mixed" reputation down here... more worky less "personality"...

Ben, it is strange that you are getting 108 FPS with 1 selected for vsync / FPS. The only way that should be the case is if you have a 120hz (or higher) monitor otherwise if 1 is used it would be maxed for FPS at the typical 60 FPS / Hz. If you do have a 120hz the stutter coming in and out based on different versions could make sense as if previous ones were light enough on performance (with the settings you use) to achieve 120 or greater, than the 1 setting for vsync would work and you would get the locked 120. If the table drops below that and you have 120hz you will get stutter as clearly 108 would not equal 120 and vsync fails in a sense if the table cannot produce the performance to lock into your screen refresh.
If you don't have a 120hz monitor, then something is wrong with your rig but I've also seen Windows and VP get a little messed up and need a restart to get the vsync option to work again (seems like things get misreported to VP from Windows at times - especially when monkeying with a lot of screen resolutions and refresh rate setting, even more so using custom / obscure ones).

I figured out my stutter problem. It was my mistake (although my computer may be a little wacko, too, I'm not sure).
With Bill's last DD release I got the best settings by unchecking Overwrite Global Settings in the table menu and maxing everything out on the video settings for VP10. This time around, CHECKING the Overwrite Global Settings box on the table menu, and typing "1" into the FPS Limiter/Vsync did the trick. This activated Vsync. I'm getting 60 FPS and totally smooth gameplay again.
Hope I didn't create confusion for anyone. Thanks to Bill for PM'ing me and offering to help, and thanks to Jimmy for pointing me in the right direction. This table continues to be a real pleasure, and a work of art!

Update.
I have "finally" completed the redraw of the aprons. Holy crap what a PITA for someone who just learned photo editing a month ago. But damn does it look good. Fixed the flippers "always on" issue. Few more physics tweaks. So this is my "latest" release candidate. ![]()
Please report any issues or concerns ASAP. Latest rev is up on #1.
Enjoy.
Bill

Yeah. Its the site overloaded issues that caused that.

CK,
I dont think that was a flipper physics issue. It appeared that there was too much gap between the wall and the flipper itself. I just narrowed that gap and that problem appears to be resolved. Check the latest rev.

Just played your final version. Great job!
Thanks. Im looking forward to wrapping it up.
nin is working on one last prim for it and I will officially release it to the site. Also note that there is a green apron in the image manager per your request. If you need me to and once it is release, I can send you a special rev that has green in the options.
