Hey graf, that looks correct for fplaunch.

 

Thanks for the info WM2, That's strange that it will work on your first monitor but not the other, I'm sure others are using it on XP systems (please let us know). I wish I could help further but I don't have a system available with XP to test on. I'm really not sure what is happening there.

i know why it doesnt work in Hyperpin.  I check out the FPlaumch.apk and there is a variable called emuPath

 

I then went at the top of the script and saw this

 

   GET AND CHECK PATHS                          
GoSub, CheckINI
IniRead, iniEmuPath, %A_ScriptDir%\Settings\Settings.ini, %systemName%, Path
emuPath := GetFullName(iniEmuPath)

 

so then I went to settings.ini (hyperpin) looking for  this.  but I can not see it .

I am using the following

[Future Pinball]
Show_Games          = true
Exe                 = Future Pinball.exe
Path                = C:\Games\Future Pinball\
Table_Path          = C:\Games\Future Pinball\Tables\
Table_Video_Path    = C:\HyperPin\Media\Future Pinball\Table Videos\

Where should I see emuPath  ?

nothing is really telling me what is going on. the DMd works when i just try and run it with FP.

ok it looks like the issue is with hyperpin. i install it from scrathc and it wont load any tables.  hmmmmm . got to look at the settings.ini in hyperpin. it has been so long since i have change the settings in HP heheheh

Fixed it. Reinstall of hyper pin and to remember some all settings. Yeah yeah

will this work for pinball-x ?

arghhhhh i am going to throw this cabinet in the BIN !!!!!!the issue is with the fpluanch.ahk

when I enter in the new settings and then  save it. I delete the fpluanch.exe and compile the ahk so it creates a new fpluanch.exe.

i then start up futuredmd

hyperpin.

and select a table it makes a ding noise and goes back to the table selection screen.

 

Can some one post me there or a normal fpluanch.ahk file so that i can try it

It might b the version of fpluanch. It is the original version. I will try it with the latest version tomorrow

i recomplie the fpluanch 1.2 (stable) and I still get the same issue where when you select the table in HP it make a ding and then goes back to th table selection screen.

I fix it !!! it was all cause by the autokey copmiple version !!!!! I went back to the post and saw that someone had a issue and used a older version !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!happy days !!!!!!!!

Does anyone have the FPLaunch 1.295wip10 AHK files already recompiled and working that they can send me a copy of? I tried several times to do it myself and it won't work. I keep getting some kind of bgcolor error with the recompiled files.

Anyone?

I got the AHK compiler to work correctly by downloading the latest version and choosing the second option under the advanced install. It was the one that said to use ANSI (I believe). The DMD program now loads and closes as it should in Windows 7.

when i resize dmd to perfect fit and i start a game it always jumps back to the half of the screen sideways to the left

it's strange i'm like the only one with this problem here..

 

also i have to do a mouseclick on the mainscreen before i can use any of the keyboardkeys

solved it by changing the screen to other outputs on the video card

main screen is now hdmi

backbox is video port

dmd is dvi

and also adjust screen numbers..(1,2,3)

 

still i have to do a mouseclick to make my buttons work..

Graf, I unfortunately haven't had any time to look into it yet, busy times in the real world. I spoke with Macro about it and I think he contacted Rafal to try and find the compatibility issue with fp-intercept. As soon as I get a chance to dig into it further or if Macro beats me to it, I will post an update.

Find the playing cards graphics name DMD_10H to DMD_QH2. You need to disable the special flag "Allow runtime texture (ST3C) Compression" on all 52 cards. Then in your main settings disable compression as well. That should fix it up. I only tested it on one PC so let me know if that does the trick.

I finally tried that - but it does not work. I disabled the texture compressing in video settings and edited all cards as described. No change at all.

A user over at the gopinball.com forum did a mod converting the cards to font so it works now. It's "only" a mod for the ultra edition but I'm sure this could be done to the gold edition I'm using, too. http://www.sendspace.com/file/a9npcu

sorry clark, I haven't had a chance to re-look at it yet. I got it working on my pc when you posted your settings but I can't remember what I changed now (outside of compression). I will compare the settings again as soon as I can. I didn't make any changes to Ultra It has always worked for me.
