I was chatting with a guy at the bar the other day, and he asked me about fruit machine emulators. I know I've had or seen a discussion before with someone ... StevOz, I believe, about them.

What's the best fruit machine emulator out there? Links?

Thanks!

In these days the place to start, membership required.

Also MFME (Multiple Fruit Machine Emulator) is the one to go for, various versions out there and historic's to go with it. Either way I loved the save to wave option, it worked Blazingly!

It has been about a year or two since I have played with the FRUITS.

The best 4 fruits are bundled together if I remember,,,,,,,,

The Fruits are,,, 50 Lions Atlantis Indian and Orchid.

I always play them while..................

Use those Fruit Machine names and You will find them.

Fruit Machine emulation is pretty cool. Its fun to have a quick game from time to time.

Best emulator IMO is MFME V9.4
Good layouts to look for include-
Adams Family
Dr Who
Indiana Jones
Lord of the Rings
Try to find a layout called "Pink Pussy" , this one is a classic, LOL.

Another good emulator is Jpemu

google DXCELLENT for the best layouts. I think his layouts are mainly for the Jpemu emulator.

Well all of MFME could be added to MAME, now the source could has been released and upon examination it seems MFME was actually built utilising MAME source code without adhering to the MAME guidelines. Now the source has been released and is available to anyone willing to improve the code or incorporate it into MAME.

My mum had one of these on her computer. It reminds me of the times when we went to the pier and the seaside.

I've got to download this, I guess!

Can you make your own somehow?

The fruit machine emulators, emulate real fruit machines only using the original roms.

If you really wanted to create an original fruit machine, then using VP to do it would be your best option.

I am looking for an answer or solution to the same question. I want to build a stand alone fruit machine emulator cabinet, likely based upon a tocuhscreen monitor, rather than discrete switch buttons, but I am wondering about a solution for the software that would allow (even if I have to re-design some of the artwork) for a full screen rotated view of the fruit machine front and button panel.

Any ideas how to get started?

Thanks!

We're now on MFME 20.1 the final version.

Can I play all the slots with that version? Some of them were playable with version 5.1.

I still don't have permission to download that latest version. :tapping:
