The reels can be resolved by adding a cab set of reels
reel needs to be vertical, and the reel image of course needs rotated
and then show/hide the wanted set of reels based on table orientation

If you feel the need to empty your wallet in my direction, i don't have any way to receive it anyways

Spend it on Hookers and Blow

Here is a vertical reel image that can be used in cabinet mode. No additional code needed.

Thanks for the table recreation!

Yes. As I have stated though, reels should rotate with the table just like the rest of the

elements. Adding a complete set of additional graphics and code to support that is in

my opinion a kludge. Reel rotation needs to be addressed at the VPX level not in the script.

So it is what it is at the moment.

Thanks! I found it interesting to work on and

I learned a few tricks. Thanks to JPSalas for suggesting to use flashers for

the base runners. I am not implementing the rotated reels at this time. Feel

free to add them to your own copy.

Not sure where 1961 came from.. :unknw:

I have corrected it on the page and will change it in the files when the next

version is released.

You can do it, there are a few tables that do
but you have to not use the desktop backbox to do the reels
and it is rather complicated as opposed to just making a horizontal and vertical set of reels.

just making reels and text boxes valid for use on playfield in the editor would remove having to do the extra step

That is sort of my point and the reason I have left cabinet code out. Something that

should be simple is being made overly complex.

There should be 1 set of reels and no custom code to orient it. If VPX can orient a wall

correctly, it should orient the reel correctly.

How do you get the b2s to show up?  I can't find a way in the script, or do you have to modify script to make it work?  Thanks!

EDIT  Found what was needed to modify script on the author's support topic page

EDIT  Found what was needed to modify script on the author's support topic page

If you want to make a simple B2s you have to add the following:

Add in the scrip for working B2s:

Const cController = 3
Dim Controller
Set Controller = CreateObject("B2S.Server")
Controller.B2SName = "Mini Baseball"
Controller.Run

usage of aldiode's reel picture:

save it, import it in image manager, rename (or delete) the old "Nb", rename the freshly imported image to "Nb"

Some changes and additions are coming in version 1.2 including

but not limited to, a recommended cabinet mode, b2s code, high score tape,

active shooter lever etc.

I do not have a release date for that yet.

Hi tgx,

i tried your 1.3 version. Nice to see it's for cabs, too.

Maybe you can add the few lines for b2s in next version ?

Const cController = 3
Dim Controller
Set Controller = CreateObject("B2S.Server")
Controller.B2SName = "Mini Baseball"
Controller.Run

One strange behavior:
sometimes the counter (reel) doesn't score/update homeruns correctly
it counts until perhaps 2 or 7 or 9 (different) and then counts no more runs

There's a bug in the high score tape. Working on that and a few other things for next release.

Yes I will add B2S in next release. Haven't seen the homerun issue but I will look at it.

1.3a is up.

Only bug I know of is if you are playing in cabinet mode with a plunger, the batting lever does not animate,

which doesn't make much sense because the Skill Gage animation still works and the same subroutine is called. :unknw:

Another plunger oddity, you need to use the keyboard to launch the ball the first time or the plunger

has no strength. After plunging once, its fine... :stunned:
