Looks like Black cut simplyus off from the FP forums, and then the forums seem to be gone, with a note from black about "can't be bothered anymore." Does this mean FP is dead?

When did he cut Simplyus off? and why? Tried to go to the forums too, gone. Black is a strange man.

Thank god we got VP forum - and a section for FP tables.
Black looks like he pulled the plug, for reasons only known to himself..............

Black is Black.

Nothing surprises me about that man, he was the same when he was involved with Randy Davis and VP!

Really, he has a soft spot for us all.

PS I guess there's no Christmas update to FP, then.

Hope everyone is well happy xmas.

I have always been a community soldier first, and my implication here got me cut out of the FP scene.
I spoke my mind, my comment were not gowing with his Flow...so here is the result.
Since it is a looping pattern regarding the one you call Black, I'm not too concern about it, because in the end we only
want to play pinball.

People don't love FP or VP, they love FPTable and VPtable. There is an important difference.
BECAUSE THEY ARE DONE BY YOU AND ME. Without US, FPEditor and VPEditor are Just tableted piece of vaporware.

Steve
the community guy.

I appreciate your contributions, Steve. Your multipin cab has been an inspiration for many. Your tables have been really fun to play. So, thanks. Without the community, the pinball programs wouldn't be much fun.

Future pinball still has a lot of promise if Black is actually still working on it. The physics are the only thing keeping it from being perfect. And marv, I hope your comment is from actually knowing Black personally, otherwise that comment is a bit harsh given the possible fact you don't know him.

What that I said he's rude? Ask around you can hear a lot worse...frankly don't give a shit about FP...no emulation = no real pinball.

Please watch the language outside the bar, Marv.

As far as Future Pinball's forum being gone...

...has there been an explanation or has this been just speculative thus far?

If those members that enjoy Future Pinball need the FP section here expanded, just let me know what you need.

First, wait and see. FP without an "official" site is a little bit stupid, isn't it?
Concerning Steve, I don't understand why he was banned and I don't think it was a good decision, but it's just my opinion.

then let my pairs be my judge. here are the last words I have posted on the FPForum, that closed it supposedly.
Paul(NoahFentz) If you think they are too abrupt or a menace to this forum, please feel free to remove them.

QUOTE
Sorry to interupting your little party with another Alias but..(I had to use an alias because I was blocked)
I never ever said I was quitting this time I was B*A*N*N*E*D by Chris. So it is not me quitting because of the threat I was receiving from one author (Slamt1lt) earlier this year.

You are very good at manipulating the thruth Chris, isnt it? hope everyone finally see what kind of pseudo-god everyone worship here. Me refusing your little commercial deal is all at the base of this. isn't it?

If I were alone I would be concern, but there are so many people you ditched along the way, it is laughable by now. Dont you think we all talk to eachother besides this forum? I always worked for the goods of the Community, someday you will realise thats all there is. FP is not the end of it. You keep treating people like you do, they will all go away eventually.

for all I did FREELY for you (table design, logos website and brochure) I would have expected a little more gratitude. But it's a repeating pattern of yours so I won't expect apologies.

It's fine, Steve.

The truth should be exposed in this situation, as it's very similar to AJ's just vanishing without a word. For some, myself included, a little closure of some sort would have been nice.

After a very good chrismas day with my family, I just had seen that Steve have been banned from fp forum, I feel more that sad. More now that FP forums are gone ...
It's a complete nosense.
Steve is one of the mens that kept FP community alive this year, giving us fresh and talented tables !

Thanx for all your work Steve, hopefully you know that you are more than welcome here (VPForums.org hosts VP and FP community with no steril war, thx Noah), and of course on fprelease.
Just drop us a mail if you want to add something on fprelease or just want to speak with some french pinball fans wink.gif

Well, if this is how things will be with FP then VP, here I come. I have a few original works underway in FP that I am sure will be easy to convert to VP. It is a shame really because FP is such a wonderful piece of software, but in the end all I really want is the pinball and a community to be a part of.

It's very, very sad when it comes to this!

It's ONLY pinball, after all.

the support button on FP is now just redirecting to the front page again. I guess its possible the site had issues with the forum but strange timing if it did.

I disagree that without tables then FP is nothing, but I do agree that table designers and the community have supported the engine and there needs to be some 2 way respect and thanks.
