Wow. You don't have to even post any kind of meaningful message for people here to shit on you. You can merely upload a table and they will make 50 posts insulting you.

I have found that people who have skills, talent, do not troll or tear down people. They apply their talents and mind their own business. They are respectful, not challenging or insulting to others.

Those that attack me or others do so because they have no talent or skills. When they insult, i try to shed light on the reality, ask them,"what can YOU do?"

YOU, all in caps, means YOU, the person insulting and challenging others. But they always respond "I KNOW SOMEONE that has made 3000 pinball machines, won three super bowls, went to the moon twice.."
Whatever..

But they are not YOU, are not part of your team. YOU are the one here throwing insults.

I dropped a table here suddenly on a whim. I had never planned on uploading it before so i didn't think first about the people here who might have installed VP in a different location.

Many tables here, requiring ROM file and PinMame are pretty much stolen from those who created them. These table copies don't always play like the table they represent. Plunged balls fall in same place every time. "Monopoly" has no score..on "ball out" a dot matrix slowly displays  ".........BONUS.......BONUS.......BONUS....."

How many insults and mocking pictures do these table authors, their family and friends have to endure? Any one I tell about my table will see me bullied  by a mob. I could do photo-shop and totally destroy people here much worse than they do me. I am busy on important projects, don't have the time or motivation to argue with idiots.

VISUAL BASIC has commands that tell you the root directory of the current program. VISUAL PINBALL has many less commands, and may not have a way to find the current directory. It is not in my reference files, and would be hard to find if it existed. I might have installed the hi score file on the C drive instead of the hi folder provided, preventing an error.

Why should I care to look for any command and try to make this table work for every person who installed VP in an odd folder? They were profoundly ungrateful for the existing work done...

Had I designed this to be sold on the market, it would answer to a single root directory, chosen upon installation. The installer would  store the root directory the same way the hi score information is saved. without folder issues, this table is completely BUG-FREE. If that makes you cry yourself to sleep at night, so be it.

For those interested in what "features" i mentioned that professional tables have, heres's a partial list.

1 Skillshot-select with right flipper
2 Rotate outlanes on slingshot hits
3 Extra Ball
4 Ball save
5 Multiball/jackpots
6 Add a ball
7 Scoop-Games
8 Recall each player's status on their next ball
9 "Combination" score on successive ramps
10 Tilt
11 Music program
12 Complete DMD notifications
13 Add a player
14 Animated light display when idle
15 Match
16 "Replay at" value adjusts when neccessary
17 High score entry, recording
18 Special
19 Bonus/multiply bonus
20 Count of switches that were hit
21 Superjets
22 Superspinner
23 Super jackpot
24 Progressive scoring on multiple hits or completions of features
25 Random ammount points and bonus awards
26 Double playfield
27 Auto plunge when appropriate
28 Hurry-Up target with value counting down

Ok. I've written back in the thread in question. ( I guess ) So, I guess I'm guilty being one of the

"have no talent or skills. When they insult me, i try to shed light on the reality, ask them,"what can YOU do?""

The problem for me is not the table. It is simply you being a snob saying that you're better than everyone else. If your learned to communicate without coming out as a pompous prick, I probably wouldn't cared at all. But, you do the absolute opposite. Sure. There are tables where the skills-hot goes to the same lane. You know what ? I fix that without telling the guy that makes the table who stupid or incompetent he is.

Well. I'm done with you Malform11. You're rid of me forever. Best for us both I guess. I will not respond nor comment on anything you do for the future. You're on the top of my permanent shit-list.

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

You complain more than my wife, I have to put up with her, not you, not with your pincity table "error-free code" you insulted anyone who told you that it did not work, now you come to be the victim? Please do not bother.

Malformed,

I read your entire previous thread without commenting.  I felt kind of sorry for you at first, because, superficially, you seemed like an innocent who had wandered into the wrong part of town.  As it went on, I realized that you are merely a troll.  You have confirmed that by starting yet another message thread, requesting further abuse.  Nobody is such a big jerk that they "accidently" make this kind of trouble.

Let me get this straight... Your story is that all of the tables in VPX are defective.  You, the master programmer with expertise in Visual Basic, one of the worlds most difficult programming languages, required over a year to get a single table working, so your wrote a completely bug-free, yet incomplete table and uploaded it here to show the community how it's done.  You trumpeted your accomplishment to the forum and waited for the accolades to pour in.  At that point, you were amazed that dozens of members, who each have hundreds of VPX tables functioning flawlessly, have called you out for being an idiot.  VPX is complicated.  I suspect it takes a person of average intelligence and experience a little research and an hour, or so, to get their first table working.

You're just too good to be true and have sent my BS Meter to flashin'.  I rest my case.
