Well Haunt. you are right, those 4k named versions of Hannibal are not really 4k (I user a 4k Ddisplay in my rig), they are upscaled from Full HD like everybody can do in PS or whatever, which means yes 4k but not one pixel more real resolution. I noticed that from the first release of you (Hannibal). On the other hand you (Hannibal) do a lot of other stuff, which - depending on one's preferences - are welcome or not. What I realized, you are not afraid of extreme light effects and are in a way outstanding, BECAUSE of this. Mostly I like it, but I am stopped for some reasons, because there are some things (nicht böse sein), that I always do not like in your releases:
- the mech sounds (I can change them myself, so no problem. Maybe the reason is you don't have a cab).
- mostly the physics, they don't play well in a real situation (a cab)
- sometimes: much more focus on effects than realism and propper work
- always: your attitude, which - and I want to pronounce to me and maybe more people, like Haunt - sounds like: "hey guys, here is the best you can get, 4k, super FX and anything you've been dreaming of!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Sounds like more swaggering than profession.
So you were - for me - one of the abmiguous table authors. He does some cool stuff, but a bit too much of swaggering, lol.
Nevertheless I appreciate many of your releases, regardless if they fit 100% to what I expect or not. And I appreciate, that you DO release, regardless, if all people are pleased or not. Taken together:
- you don't produce irrelevant shit
- you sell it maybe a bit too aggressive
For me, that's all I can say, I like, that you (Hannibal) are around. Everybody, who doesn't like him can ignore him...
And now to this table and what I actually wanted to write here, when I came to this thread now:
I like it a lot, because:
- this time I like the sounds
- this time I like the physics (nonetheless, could be twaeaked, but just a bit)
- the lighting FX are cool anyway...
- I found out, that this table is better than I ever thought (never played it in reality).
So here from me: Thanks for this one! Even if not really 4k
