Lucky Seven Williams 1978, DT FS and FSS.

For some reason, I have always wanted to build a table with reels under the playfield and Lucky Seven is a good candidate.

Special Thanks to:

JPSalas: scripts, sounds and more
Arngrim: testing and DOF
Cyberpez for rod spinner animated idea
Gtxjoe for rod code animation
The VP development team
Hanzoverfist for display code base
DJRobX, sound playback functions code
Rothbauerw, sound playback functions code

In the first hundred lines of the scripts you will find options regarding sounds, DMD, backglass, etc ...

JP's LUT brightness control, hold down the LeftMagnaSave and pressing the RightMagnaSave change the brightness of the table.

Kiwi, this table looks and plays and sounds great!  I see you used walls for the rubber objects instead of the rubbers.  I feel like the ball is more alive and has better table movement when walls are used rather than with the rubber objects.  Is this why you choose to use them?

Fantastic classic early Williams SS machine recreation, really liking the game, it looks and plays spot on, thanks kiwi!

Changed the backdrop DT setting to fit my 16:9 monitor a bit wider then your 16:10 monitor, so here they are if anyone cares for a slightly wider view on a 16:9 monitor...

Thanks again kiwi, top notch.

In reality, it is because I like to have different areas with different elasticity, such as rubber bands of the slingshot, the pegs have a different elasticity of the rubber.
With more walls it is easier to control the shot of the slingshot and the rebound of pegs.
The lively movement of the ball is due to the general setting of the table, playfield/objects friction, elasticity, slope, etc.
What else to add, with the same elasticity, the wall bouncing the ball a little more of the rubber.

Thanks

Very nice table, kiwi!  Thanks for sharing.

I did notice the top right bumper does not seem to have DOF working.  Everything else seems to be firing great.

Is there a way to fix this bumper for DOF?

Thanks again and great work!

I have done a bit of confusion with the bumpers, classic mistake with copy paste.

For bumper 2 go to script line 264 and change the switch number from 38 to 34.

Thanks Kiwi I'll be trying this out this weekend. If it's half as good as surf 'n' safari it will be amazing. Love your tables.

Great table and backglass kiwi. I just came across this fine example and added it to my cab and i am not getting the chimes and rollover sounds on the cab. On the pc i use to download and setup tables the sounds play fine.  I am using vpx10.2 beta and one of the recent vpinmame betas on both machines but only the cab has dof so i figure it has something to do with the controller and stopping the sounds when using dof but can't seem to find what to do to get the rollovers and chimes to play. Any ideas on what the issue could be?
