Built a new cabinet and had this working for a day or two. But suddenly my pinDMDv3 is simply coming up as "PinDMD not found".
Here's the backstory - I had been trying to get Pinball X working as a front end. I got the paths screwed up for my Visual Pin directory (don't ask) so I decided to simply install VPX from scratch.
After trying to load VPX on the machine again, it has been failing ever since. I have tried to go in and remove the registry entries for the individual games - I also found another article recommending simply resetting the "showpindmd"=dword:00000001 with "showpindmd"=dword:00000000 for all the tables, but that hasn't worked either.
I've copied the Bass.dll, pinDMD.dll and VpinMAME.dll back over and re-run the vpinmame setup to re-apply them, but still not showing up in any tables I try to launch and enable the pinDMD in. I've also rebooted and reseated the USB cable in the pinDMD itself just to make sure and nothing seems to change.
Any help would be great. At this point I'd be okay completely blowing away my VPX folders and starting over, but am unsure if there's anything I need to manually remove in the registry that might be screwing this up.
Thanks.
