It could be missing libraries I couldn't find out which, is there a way to determine it from visual studio what runtimes are needed?

Ah, I tried that same file alrady. :D It doesn't help, thought something else would come up from visual studio.

Edit: I found out that the file was compressed with UPX, I decompressed it and Voila! it worked. :D Recompressing it gave me the same error, so upx seems to be the problem. Is upx necessary? A rared dll is about the same size anyway.

Can someone point me to where I can download the latest versions of the VPinMAME for 9.9.1. With the current version I am getting the error "Attempted to read or write protected...".  The links earlier in this topic discussion no longer work.

Hello.  I have attempted the download the latest vpinmame.zip file from the link provided by Outhere and the file does not exist.  Is there an updated link that contains this file?

Thank you.

Hello, my Name is Bernd, and i am a new user of VP and VPinMAME. It is a great Software!

My Problem is also, that the Cabinet Version 2.5 crashes. The other Version 2.5 is ok, but the Display Position can not be saved.

So, I want to try the new Cabinet-Version from VPinMAME. But the Download Links on Page 1 are broken...

I am using win 8.1

Cheers to all Pinball-Fans

Bernd

It is possible they are broken due to the restore. I've looked serverside for the files, and they are not there.

I'm sure toxie will reattach when he sees these posts, and I'll look into this deeper to see if other attachments have been affected.

Just reuploaded.. Also a lot of other posts seem to have gone since a while, so here the updates that happened since the last update post combined again:

- Improve Solenoids on Playmatic games

- Added mech handler for mech #0 (goalie) in WCS:
The goalie will assume positions between 0 (max. left) and 50 (max. right), and will close the left switch when < 10 and the right one when > 40
Also Mech #1 (ball) will now return the speed of the ball rather than its position, with values ranging from -120 to 120
- Changed head mech handler for PZ:
Head will assume varying positions between 0 and 95 that translate to test positions 0 to 6 (within small ranges)
- New/Better support for:

 CICPlay: Galaxy Play 2, Kidnap

 Inder: Centaur (not working yet)
Premier: Amazon Hunt II & III
 Stargame: Iron Balls
Valley: Spectra IV (good U4 dump for correctly timed bonus countdown)

- Fish Tales D-6 (LED Ghost Fix)

- Popeye LX-4

Many thanks! The Cabinet Mode works fine so far. I have testet with "Attack from Mars". No crashes, and Display Position can be saved on second Monitor!

I am so happy!
