Nope. As I said before in this post, it's made using an old system some people used before UVP existed. It's made with a dll called pinserver and a vbs file that Manofwar wrote some time ago before he got involved in UVP development. I have never used it, so I can't say more...

Here I put the instructions for operating the roller marker Strange World:

1-Download the pack with all the files here:

http://www.mediafire...b6j3k32qnxv00av

2 º- Open the folde Pinserver and run the file Setup.exe .
Must be in of TABLES folder of visual pinball.

3º-Place the following files in the folder of visual pinball TABLES:
BACKGLASS.VBS, REEL23x35.bmp, REEL2500x35.bmp, Strange WORLD.vpt and Strange WORLD.bmp

Open the file STRANGE WORLD.vpt with Visual Pinball and have to write this code at the end of the script:

'******************************** SCRIPT ADDED TO FIT THE MARKER IN THE BACKGLASS ******** **************************************

ExecuteGlobal GetTextFile ("Backglass.VBS)
InstallBackglass ("Strange World.bmp") 'Replace the bmp image of your backglass
'SetDisplay (IDDisplay, ImageFont, X, Y, Digits, DigitWidth, DigitHeight, FramesxDigit
SetDisplay 1, "Reel2500x35.bmp" 648,150,5,125,95,2
Sub Table1_Exit ()
Backglass_End
End Sub

Sub BackglassTimer_Timer ()
'UpdateDisplay IDDisplay, Value
UpdateDisplay 1 Score
'SetValueDisplay IDDisplay, Value
'SetValueDisplay 0, HighScore
End Sub

There is to use the image REEL 2500x35.bmp.I have resize the image REEL25x35.bmp with Photoshop to 2500x35.bmp.Si Reel25x35.bmp you want the score smaller only have to change the size of that image.

If you use the file STRANGE WORLD.vpt that I include in the zip do not need to add the code in the script because it is included yet
Enjoy it

Regards

I keep getting an error. Explain how to install pinserver please. Also, the script portion that needs to be added is already added to the script, with the table file you included right?

That is the operating system I am using, XP professional service pack 3. You say the pinserver files go in the tables folder. Do they go in a folder inside the tables folder, or do they go directly in with the tables? I am also getting another error.

Moogster that error is because the name of the image Strange World.bmp isn´t like the line :

InstallBackglass ("Strange World.bmp") 'Replace the bmp image of your backglass

When install the pinserver a folder called Pin in tables.Copy and paste the four files of Pin folder in the Tables folder

Cheers

I have tried putting a folder called "pin" in the tables folder with the four files in it, and copy and pasted the four files in the pin folder directly in the tables folder, still no luck. There must be a step that is being missed. I have also tried renaming the .bmp image, still getting errors.

Hello, for some reason, the "pin server" does not install well on some computers.
In its day it was a log file to fix this.
Here I leave the file, you only have to modify the directory paths.

I hope you work
Sorry for my bad english, but i am spanish

I spent some time with this last night. I got a few script errors, but not the ones you mention. I was able to get the table running error free, and it brought up my backglass image for me, but there were no reels on it. I also noticed the table playing choppy. Going to wait and see if anyone else has more success. It looks like there are alot of scripting changes needed per table.

If you installed PinServer with admin rights, then the setup program should have already added the registry entries for you.
