oooh ok I'll start on the graphics for you! to see my work check out the graphical update on the Banjo-Kazooie table. most of that work is mine; the plastics, slings, and the drop targets
the first shot is a WIP . the second is everything changed! Understand I did NOT build this table but redid it as a favor to the original table author
I need to know if you want actual dragon pics (since i love dragons I have tons of them!) but I'll start on the slings, walls and plastics. Any preference on sling rubber color?
ok here's what i did in about 1 hour! Waddya' think?
a major problem has come up! apparently for some odd reason you put a false table top at a height of 50 into it. bercause of that I cannot put any major sling changes into it. I mean I could but I'd have to adjust about 90 different parts to match that wall height. Sorry but no y'see the custom sling are comprised of about 30 parts each! if you want to do that feel free, I'll zip the table once i finish with everything else and send it to you with directions on how to adjust their heights.
oh and as for coding it, I'll help ya, but I am not gonna' code all of it for ya'. I have 5 wip's of my own so have not much free time. Why did you ever put that table wall in?

makeing the high change will mess up the castle. Do bad that vp 9 does not have mass height up and down by number based on the base number.

but why didn't you just build everything on the regular table surface of '0' height? That's what i don't get

I wanted to have room for a lower level. But I don't think one will fit in now with the rest of lay out.

hey I have to go out for the day with my gal but here's what i did so far! leave the lower level out please, I have enough graphic stuff to do and with all those ramps it'll be a coding nightmare as it is! but it looks cool! I like all those ramps but it seems complicated. I haven't even looked at the coding yet to see where all the holes go but I will get to it after some more graphics stuff!

Whew! I just redid all the sling rubber heights and posts to match your table wall ht of 50! So now everything's in order! Don't mind the colors, I am trying 'fire' for a dragon motif but you can always change it. Do ya' like it so far?

This is what I have so far. I am uploading it to you in case you want to put in that second level you mentioned. It needs something ( a flipper? some targets? and what are you doing with the left upper corner? it's just a hole right now with two ramps going to it)

not really, you can always just erase that there seems to be enough kickers anyhow! and I'm still trying to get some coding into it (like start and end game)

I don't want to just have dead space there any idea what do with the left ramp? or what can be there?

well as much as you have so many kickers on the table what's one more? Put another one on that top gray table and make a second level platform with another kicker launching the ball onto the upper table in the left. Once you do that, I'll toss in a tiny flipper to aim the ball better towards either ramp that you already have coming from it. I am just not that good with kicker coding if there are a lot of them and this table certainly has a lot! Tell ya' what, I can make slings up there to richochet the ball around to either ramp instead of a flipper, your call here. These are just a few ideas, you are free to use them or not.

a lot of the kickers are just places for the ball to fail into others are just hold and kick back out in the same place. I will make the upper part be feed by right side loop shots to go the other upper pf with the flipper. What is your flipper idea?

well you can go this route with a flipper/table setup like I did i raised the table in the upper left to 171 so that the two ramps come off of it and tossed as flipper in there too to hit the ramps with. I must cook dinner right now or I'd do more with it.

no I will thinking about a having a toy there or just it feed down to the other pf.

A few table design flaws, nothing major just a few easy fixes for ya' to do. the blue circle on the left: here gravity makes the ball completely miss the flipper, just curve the end of the ramp where it exits onto the gray table up top to have the ball curve towards the flipper that's up there. Or move the flipper down that upper table a bit more to make contact with the ball as it rolls down the table.
The right hand blue circle at the exit of the ramp that looks like a staircase, the ball hangs up on the lower wall of the ramp at the playfield level. I can put a few custom posts in there is you like to again 'pretty things up a bit' along with the ends of the walls on the left lower table as well. the middle ramp could stand to be widened a tad, it took me ten tries before I could hit it with enough force to get it all the way up it and into the castle!I like tough, but DAMN!
aside from that and three pm's is alot! it looks good so far. I'll continue to add 'start and end game'. after I get it playing and ending, I'll show you how to put in scoring and sounds (so you can do that by yourself) by doing a few and then you can just cut and paste the basic lines and input the names. Don't worry once you see it this will all make sense.

Having just now played the WIPs from this and the other thread, this has the potential to be really good, with some excellent flow, logical shots and great combination play between areas. If I were to suggest any changes, they would be these:
* Lose the brown targets, particularly the two on the left side; you can't see them very well, and they don't appear to contribute much to the design.
* The ramp shots are awkwardly small and really need to be wider, especially since the playfield itself is a widebody. As they stand, they make the field look bigger and emptier than it actually is. The center ramp also needs some additional fixing as it's badly prone to airballs.
* The third channel from the left looks like it should be a captive-ball area, if that isn't what you have planned for it already.
* There's a lot of unused space at the bottom where you can make things more interesting than the standard inlane/outlane setup, such as an extra left lane with a kickback onto the main field, like in Future Spa.
But yes, this is going well and I can tell already it's undergone a lot of rigorous playtesting to get it to this stage. Keep it going.
