I went with the button instead of the plunger its a considered full digital solid state machine. I didn't desire the "retro" controls. Besides, it seems those "digital" type plungers after so much useage could break? I like the button - just keep it pressed longer for a stronger shot (like the "ENTER" button)...

I guess that's also why I didn't put a coin slot assembly in too. This is NEW "state of the art" pinball.



Here is some Cabinet Art I put together for my build.
The backglass cab will be all black like the playfield cab.
This artwork is planned to be printed on Vinyl & laminated with self-adhesive backing.
No too cheap though... The cheapest price I found locally here around the Cleveland, OH area is $145.63.

Just received today my artwork. Its printed on 3M vinyl self-adhesive backing that has been laminated. Will install later today.

Just a thought but I noticed your graphics card was in the last slot on your motherboard. On a hunch I looked up your board and downloaded the manual. It appears that slot, although pci-e x16, is only running at 4x (if Im looking at this correctly). If you move the card to the 1st (Blue) or 3rd (White) slot you should get the maximum performance from your card.

Of course its ok! That's what our Community is here for. I'm actually honored and thrilled you are building from my plans. just a heads up - the pull out drawer is quite awesome, however, when I installed the legs, the drawer cannot pull out. Fail here... You may wish to dimension that part differently. Also, be sure you measure "as you built it" before ordering your tempered glass. Also, please double check the dims. I used like 98% of them.

Gosh, great eye man! I will look into this. I really appreciate the input. The machine runs great, but heck, if will run even better life will be grand!

Hi,
I can see you have green light under the cabinet.
Do you miss lights/flashing? (LED-Wiz etc).

I have 6 green neon-type lights beneath the main playfield cab and 1 geen led strip light behind the backglass cabinet. The lights do not flash. I think that would be too "crazy". It's just to set the ambiance when playing. I do not use the LED-Wiz. The lights are powered from the main power supply form the PC. There are switches on the bottom lights. The lights behind the backglass are on full time when the PC is powered on.

The 24" backglass works perfect! Perfect image!
I just finished making a two player Mame control panel with trackball. I am planning on running Hyperspin on the 24" backglass screen. I just need to figure out how to run Hyperspin with all of the emulators to the backglass screen (Screen 2 with my setup)...

Is it correct that the playfield monitor is EW39T4LZ? And that it is 60hz? I thought it was by fare best to use 100+hz?

Yeah, I believe the playfield monitor is the EW39T4LZ. Yes, 60 Hz.
At the time I was looking for my screens, I wanted a 100Hz monitor for the playfield but I couldn't find a good price.
The 60 Hz playfield monitor I am using works like a charm. I do not notice any lagging or studdering whatsoever. I think the graphics card I am using indeed helps that too.
In fact, with today's "standard" average LED/LCD tv's, I think it's more important to make sure you have a "beefy" graphics card. Go with nVidia as you can't lose.

Yep, that's it. You will be very happy with it! It fits perfect, and no need to remove the outer bezel! Good luck with your cab!

Its funny and sad. I have been trying to find out what the response time is on the playfield monitor. But apparently Best Buy Customer Care do not know what response time is?!
Do you know what it is.
