Haha :P , no steering wheel.  But could you give me a pointer on how to adjust the "dead zone"?

It's In preferences under keys I think. Try 10-15 %.

Dead zone setting only applies if you have an USB analog joystick device like gamepad or Xbox controller or steering wheel connected to the PC

You know a lot more about this than I do, Joe. I have none of those things hooked to my cab and playing with the dead zone has solved some of the problems I was having

Well Bob. You have a cab - and in that cab there is a unit that works kind of like the xbox controller gtxjoe is referring to. This is why, when you nudge your cab, the ball moves. In handy1957 case. Something is sending data to VP. You can always download and start ie. diview - that program shows you the raw input data coming in. It is easier to see there, than to use "calibrate usb game controller" in windows. At least I think so.

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

... I guess I should also add "or plunger/analog nudge controller" :)

Thank you.  I really like the new VPX.  Incredible how much better it looks than the original.  I look forward to seeing more tables put out

and some of the little things you guys mentioned getting fixed and tweaked.  I will continue to watch. :dblthumb:

Yes...VPX is in its stride. I wasnt much of a believer early on, but it seems the authors have a handle on how to maximize VPX now...some incredible releases lately!
