Registration Issues and Truly Imminent Site Upgrade

Well, it looks like we're getting too old and definitely need an update. I've been holding out simply because we'll lose a ton of cool features, but now, the captcha services protecting new registrations have gone defunct.

We're currently working on first implementing a new captcha code, so people can register. After that, it's time to move forward with upgrade!

Slight Change to the Downloads Section ...

Hi everyone!

 

We're still working through some things on getting the forum software updated. It's still going to be a bit. I don't want this place to end up broken or lose all of our great features!

 

To help with this, the Download Section now allows for volume extensions .z01-.z09 to ease the pain of the 100MB for the time being.

 

If you need more volumes, please let me know.

 

All I can do is apologize for taking so long, but it's a very extensive process. Once finished, it'll all be worth it.

Recent DB Crash Results ...

We had an outage this morning, and it wiped out our files again. We still have yet to find a cause, other than possible infiltration.

Sadly, there was an issue on our host's end that prevented backups from being created. It's now been rectified, but that leaves us with only a backup from June 6th. Any uploads after that period have been lost.

My sincerest apologies for the inconvenience. I realize what a pain in the ass this is. We're working on things, so this never happens again.
